Haven't seen the whole vid yet, but you can totally use sanding paper for smoothing surfaces. I used a 3D printer to make my bachelor thesis architectural model and whenever the surface wasn't smooth enough for gluing, I'd just use some sanding paper :3

Fun fact: It's only really counted as true third degree burns if you don't feel it. This is due to the fact that if it reacts the "third level" of your skin it's supposed to of burned your nerves. Fun. However you would still feel around the area. But another fun fact people covered with complete third degree burns may not even realize they are third degree burned is they don't see the burn. They may of felt it but upon not feeling pain afterwards, think they are fine. (especially since fire is a thing that causes shock and shock causes people to act and think weird) Again, burned through nerves. That's when it's really third degree. and as S B mentioned, usually charred. Source: My multiple first aid classes soo take it with a grain of salt if you want.

That was really gggggoooodddd!!!!!! But I would like to point out something on ur vid. Not to hate. But since I have a 3D printer, I know the struggles w/ 3D printing! You can smooth out the filament w/ sand paper, make sure the sand paper is a bit worn in. Also, PLA is the most common filament there is, and takes a temperature of 180 to 220 degrees (c) for it to melt. And for changing the filament, you can push the new filament down instead of waiting. It's much faster in my opinion, so you don't want 10,000 years for the new plastic to come in. Anyways I hope you read this and hope this helps in the future! Love ya! No hate. (Sorry I wrote a lot...)

I ordered some fake micron pens off of it ( 9 for £4.50) and it took only 10 days for it to arrive but it can vary. Rae! I always hold a lighter to my 3d pen creations and smooth the molten (again) filament out with a metal clay sculpting thingy I got lying around. 3d filament isn't gonna dry smoothly on its own so I thought I'd let you know how I usually do it! Still loving the Mickey you made though ❤

With those spiral filament, the same thing sometimes happens with real 3d printers! They get unraveled or the coil doubles and you have to unravel the whole thing! I'm at a Technology center for half of my day at school and am going through an engineering course and we work with 3d printers a lot, it is sometimes SO FRUSTRATING especially with a time crunch!

I just want to jump into the video to help her and tell her how to use the pen lol I have used quite a few of the 3d pens and have learned a bunch of "tips & tricks" that they dont tell you in the paperwork. Like, I'm pretty sure if she double clicked the button the filament would reverse out, instead of wasting it when you switch colors. Also, if you tap the button once it should pause the stream, instead of unplugging it everytime you want to stop. *Edit* Idk how much of the problems here are user error or the fact that this is a WISH product and just doesn't work that great.. She seems to have a problem connecting parts/keeping them together. You CAN use the filament as a glue to hold pieces together, even if the other bits are already dry.

I think you should check out Make Anything channel. Davin is a cool guy, and he did not a few 3d pen projects. He has a great advice on 3d pens somewhere, on which pen he tried and how good did he find them. I don't have such a device, but it doesn't seem that this one works like they should. Being a talented person with art skills you beat a very nice result out of this thing. But it looks like it deserves only about 2/10, just for not breaking on the spot.

If you're more serious about 3d printing (and have the budget for it) and want a 3d pen printer. I'd suggest one that is a recognised brand like Polaroid. Also, the lack of a power button on that 3d pen in the video worries me. Nevertheless, this budget 3d pen does look like a good starting point.

My 3d pen you can adjust the filling rate also the temperature. It can come out fast or slow. Its cool enough after about a second to touch. Cut the fill into smaller pieces for the tangling.
