The video I watched before the notification for this video came thru, was about Sendai during the horrible earthquake and tsunami back in 2011. The footage was terrifying and pretty much wiped Sendai off the map. I paused your video while in Sendai and was glad to see how far it came back since that tragedy. I think it would be a great idea to visit some of the cities that were destroyed along the coast to show everybody what they look like now.

This is the ferry we took from Hokkaido to Sendai (which then continues back to Nagoya). We took the Ishikari from Sendai to Hokkaido, the Kiso is a nicer ferry, but both ferries had the same bad buffet. The Kiso looks even shakier tan it did when we road it. You can think of the ferry being a giant "Magic Fingers" massage bed. A little (or a lot) of beer will help you sleep. We drove from Sendai back to our home in Tokyo, passing by Fukushima. Along the highway are Geiger counter signs showing how much radiation was in the air. The numbers got higher as we got closer to the nuclear plant, and then went back down after we had passed it.
