If someone said "make the opposite of a Chicago-style pizza," I'm pretty sure you'd get what you were served on the ship. A real Chicago deep dish is basically a pie made out of thick crust, cheese, and pizza toppings.

Security wise it could also be a nightmare if someone else got ahold of your receipt and snapped a shot with their mobile phone. If a door or card key was stolen or lost at least you would know it. I very much enjoy Sake. Its just not well stocked where I live in Wisconsin, USA. I typically get Gekkeikan brand around here. When traveling Japan, my wife and I tried all kinds and it was great. I would really like to try Tedorigawa sake though.

And how did that compare? Gekkeikan tastes really burny to me and it's made in Cali, I kind of assumed it didn't hold up to the Japanese domestic stuff.

We mostly got our sake from konbinis while traveling. So, we didn’t have the fanciest stuff most likely. I would say Gekkeikan was probably on the dry end of what we had. It’s better than One Cup Sake, but I’d say average at best overall. I still buy some from time to time.

For some reason i am fascinated in seeing what you can get to eat on ferries in Japan and how you demolish it all, keep up the great work , i dont travel or do holidays but you inspire me to see Japan. Thank you for your videos.

First time I got drunk in Japan was with hot sake, haha. I went to a local craft brewery in Nagasaki with a friend from Denmark. Do you plan on taking any ferries to or from Ishikawa prefecture in the future?

How do these companies make money? I barely see anyone on these trip reports! Is it more busy than it looks?

I sometimes wonder the same thing. I think it's a combination of him going out of his way to avoid filming when other are around, and passenger traffic being down in general due to COVID concerns. From earlier videos, I understand the really money made by these ships is halling trucks around.
