Your video is awesome! I did the light kit before and it didn't turn out as well as yours did. Esalon is great, but my technique - not so much. Just ordered my first set. "(Dark Blonde), Copper Golden". Nervous but excited. Want these greys coloured and a nice vibrant copper colour that compliments my skin tone. I'm naturally a redhead but have coloured it so many times, and have naturally got darker - and recently greyer - over the years I don't have that vibrancy anymore. Did you keep that colour? I know the video is old now. It really brought out your eyes, green eyes are gorgeous, especially with dark hair.

OMG You are sooooo sweet!! I do plan to get highlights again once my damaged hair grows all the way out. For now this esalon will do. Oh - they do have highlighting kits, I'm just not gutsy enough to try them on my own yet lol.

I have ordered color for my hair from esalon and can't wait till time for me to color it. I do wish I had ordered the kit for clips and everything but will just have to go buy me some somewhere. I loved the way your hair turned out it is beautiful. My hair was longer but just recently got it cut and really had a lot of really light color pulled through a cap a little too light I feel as I have grey that comes out at roots so I will see them sooner with this color I have and maybe coloring my hair sooner. Thank you for sharing you doing your hair.

Hey just catching your video. My hair is 2 colours. Blue and purple. I bleached my hair before and then dyed the colours. If i use colour oops and then redye a close colour to my natural colour would that work? I have emailed them and waiting for a response. You said you took out blue so.was just wondering?

Sorry that I just saw this!! I let my hair get a little dirty before I start dyeing - the color holds to the hair better if you start a little dirty. After dyeing they include a shampoo and conditioner foil pack (basically just a deluxe sample size.) In the shower you try to rinse out as much color as possible, really working through until it feels like nothing is left, THEN shampoo your hair. It is crazy how much color gets stuck in your roots and then the shampoo really breaks it up nicely. I usually double shampoo because I can still feel a heaviness to my roots if that makes sense and it isn't squeaky clean yet. After that, condition like normal and you can dry and style however you want! It def goes on a bit darker at first and after a couple washes lightens up ever so slightly. Hope this helped!
