The Minnesota State Fair is super popular and on very busy days it can have over 200,000 people attending! We were there on one of the busiest days of the fair, so it was packed!

I loved the hot honey halumi cheese, I loved your reaction at first as I had the same but it grew on me, i had them super fresh, and I LOVED them, def not too hot if you can handle pretty basic heat ,pretty sure they used mikes hot honey. I got them first thing hot n fresh and almost preferred them to the curds and i live blocks away curds been my fav going my whole life ok maybe not better then some fresh mouth trap curds from the old stand but still I liked the halumi.🤣🔥

When I was little my mom went to a church to get food. This was around 1965. They gave her 12 boxes of honeycomb cereal. I was so sick of it, I swore I’d never eat it again. Fast forward to my own kids saying, “Mom, why don’t we like honeycomb cereal again? Lol. I had been making bad faces at it for years and refused to buy it. But, I hadn’t told my kids why!

That's a great question! We knew we wouldn't be able to eat it all ourselves, so we ate what we wanted and then we shared it with family and friends who were also at the fair at the same time. If a food was really good, we wrapped it up and saved it for another day (we had a cooler in the car), and if it was really bad we threw it away without regret (luckily there weren't many things that were really bad) 😆

How exponentially different the MN State Fair is now from your vid you most graciously have provided--the last time I was there was around 1987 or 88---it was junk food, hot dogs, Dairy Queen, Coke, Pepsi and french fries. Literally only obese food choices with zero unique taste, originality or style. Now I see it's a complete schmorgasboard (sp?)---foods I have never heard of, and it all looks unbelievable. They even found a way to make Lutafisk taste palatable. Since you gave the Lutafisk a 1 on your scale, that is how much more palatable it appears to be from the normal traditional recipe I have been expopsed to that other people cooked for a dinner party. Yuck.
