I was in a similar situation, where I wasn’t big at all but I was eating garbage and not exercising. I looked fine but I felt like crap. You don’t have to be overweight to be unhealthy and gaining weight doesn’t need to be your wake up call to start taking better care of yourself.

As a vegan, I love seeing non-vegans trying out some of the food I constantly eat. I love tofu, but if you do it wrong it kind of tastes like nothing. My favourite tofu recipe is frying it with a bit of golden syrup and low sodium soy sauce. Also, vegan doesn't always mean healthy. You can only be drinking soda and eating chips and still be vegan.

@@raniaa7571 You could focus on your macros a lot but that takes quite a bit of energy so just making sure you've eaten a bit of every colour food, you'll be fine. Eating a variety of colours is pretty much the best way. Fun fact about that - humans have the sight that we do because different fruits and vegetables have to be more attractive to the eye for us to eat them! Also, if you are worried about your vitamin intake, there are vitamins for vegans specifically so no worries about that! :))

@@theklam6276 Honestly any tofu works, just make sure it's plain. Squeeze all the water out by pressing the tofu between two paper towels and cut it into cubes. Then you can make the sweet and sour sauce and fry the tofu and the sauce together. You can also search for more recipes as tofu can literally taste like anything! :))

There's a difference between just vegan and PLANT-BASED vegan. Ariana was plant-based and focused mostly on vegetables and fruit only with the occasional oatmeal for breaksfast. I was a fan of hers way back and remember she would post what she ate on snap chat. And it was really just fruit and vegetables. It was quite small portion too :/ but i guess since she's short it's ok. like she showed "Lunch!" and it was just an apple with peanut butter. and then "dinner!" was a young coconut and a bowl of strawberries... she probably wasn't even hitting 1,000 calories.

Then I throw it all in a bowl and add one teaspoon of soy sauce + one teaspoon of hot Samyang sauce (the red one with chicken flavor or something lol). Then I mix it with my hands (I always wear gloves while preparing it because it's pretty disgusting without them). And then I just fry it and add salt. BTW it's also nice without the Samyang sauce, I just like the spicy flavor. It sounds pretty, pretty weird but I really like it that way lmao

The key to tofu is making sure to drain as much water from it as possible. They have tofu presses but paper towels works just as well. Tofu soaks things up like a sponge, so if you roast it with some healthy oils and spices, maybe some balsamic it really makes a big diff because it will soak those up rather than the water it’s packed in:)

I personally don't like tofu unless it's made like this: you put it in flour,then leave it in the oil until it's golden. Then take it out and put a bit of soy sauce on it!

You should try baking the tofu. Dry out most of the liquid, then cube. In a bowl mix 1 Tablespoon each of soy sauce, corn starch, and oil. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the tofu out. Bake at 400 for 25-30 minutes. This applys to 1 package of tofu. You can also add other seasonings too.

Take tofu, chop up into small cubes. Put in a bowl and cover with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Let sit for 30min-1hr. Heat a pan on medium heat and thin coating of sesame oil ( can use any neutral oil as well ) pour in tofu and cook each side until crunchy and brown. It’s delicious and I use it for stir fries and salads! Also checkout the double freeze tofu method and use extra firm tofu!

I usually go for "smoked" tofu 💞 it's seasoned as if it's been smoked and when fired kinda tastes like bacon. At least I imagine that's what bacon tastes like because I don't eat pork.

I loved this vid! Just as a side note though, tofu will taste quite bland if it isn't seasoned/flavoured properly or enough. I'd recommend adding it to a veggie stirfry with spices, lemon and garlic. Maybe some hot sauce as well

I work in the music industry and I know for a fact we have to look attractive. Music producers actually encourage artists to look skinny and fit because that makes more people pay attention to them. You first make the audience look at you for your looks, then you captivate them with your personality and talent. It's very effective. Beauty is relative, indeed. But most people are attracted to slim bodies, nice curves, good makeup and nice hair. It is a nice consequence tho, it makes you eat healthy and exercise more to keep looking fit. Exercising makes you happier and energetic.

hii im vegan and just wanted to share that if you dont cook the tofu with any sauces or spices or anything it’s going to taste like nothing lol. (always drain out as much water as possible) the easiest way is to at least marinate it a bit in soy sauce and then season it when you cook it. tofu can be made to taste like so many flavors!

My favorite way to make tofu super tasty is to cut it into thinner blocks and press the liquid out, then marinate it in whatever kind of sauce you like (teryiaki is bomb) and then bake it in the oven at about 350 F (sorry american here!) for 20-40 minutes until it's browning up and getting a bit crispy at the edges. suuuper good.

Physical therapists, PT’s, do a lot of different things but they primarily help diagnose and rehab injuries, while person trainers primarily help one reach fitness goals. hope this makes sense😊love your vids!

Everyone, you can use herbs and spices with the tofu. Please don’t limit yourself to bland tofu. What no one ever mentions is that there’s some teriyaki seasoning or sauce even. This was a great review, don’t get it twisted. But please guys, season your food. Use garlic powder onion powder, everything but the bagel seasoning, anything. Please.

Let me give y’all some ideas, if you walk 20 thousand steps a day you burn 1000 calories, for me personally it takes me 2 hours to walk 10 thousand steps so 4 hours for 20 thousand. I burn 1700 from my bmr so that’s a total of 2700 burned everyday, so if i only eat 1700 calories a day that’s a 1000 calorie deficit therefore I’m losing 2 pounds a week. You can eat whatever you want as long as you’re exercising on a calorie deficit. And if you think 4 hours of walking is long just think of how ONLY WALKING YOUR CALORIES OFF can make you lose weight :) It’s addicting! I’ve lost 14-16 pounds by a calorie deficit! Don’t listen to people saying bs like “stop eating junk food” “cut out soda completely” “eat healthy” ive been eating nothing but my favorite foods and eating junk food in moderation and have lost sm weight in only 2 months and people notice

As a vegan, it really depends on what you eat in order to maintain the image you want of yourself. Of course it’s the healthiest lifestyle you could choose but it also depends exactly what you’re eating. Veggies, fruit, beans, rice etc are some great foods to go with if you’re trying to lose weight but of course even vegan foods such as chips, sweets, butter, chocolate etc is going to have oil and sugar. Processed foods are the only ones that are going to shake up ur image of a healthy body, so it depends what ur choosing. Nevertheless I loved this video !! I’m trying to lose a little lower belly fat myself, but mine is due to an allergy I have of wheat/corn I think... I’m trying to lose it😭 your videos are helping me tho, thank you🤍🙏🏼

Giiiiirl, marinate that tofu and it’s amaaaazing. I have some tofu marinating right now 😂 Madeleine Olivia’s sweet and sticky tofu recipe is an absolute favorite of mine, combined with a cauliflower “fried rice” I make (literally just cauli rice, liquid aminos, and some seasons) I loooove it! Although I sub sriracha with hoisin sauce because I’m not a big spice person and I love hoisin sauce so it fits great 😛

Vegans mainly eat carbs; they tend to eat more complex carbs but let it be known fruits and veggies are carbohydrates...almost purely so.

I could tell from looking at it that you wouldnt like the tofu lmao you undercooked it! The surface has to be CRISPY, easiest way without oil is in the oven but if you do it on the pan you just have to be patient not to flip for ages. Also its easier to cook if you cut it into a patty shape first and then cut it smaller after its cooked! And I always prefer to season it with garlic and paprika powder and have it with hot sauce

You really need to marinate tofu to not get bored of it. I really want to lose weight but I'm having trouble getting exercise because I have chronic illness and I like food too much
