Good to see you back Gretl. If you ever get a chance, go to Dumaguete and eat at Jamrock Cafe. Orville Henry is a Jamaican master chef there and everything he cooks with is healthy and out of this world good.

Would you go to my hometown Davao City? It's Kdayawan Festival week. Kadayawan means bountiful harvest and the ancient tribes used to offer their harvest at the foothills of Mt. Apo, the tallest mountain in tge Ph and also home of durian waling waling and the majestic Philippine Eagle. It's harvest time so it means so many fruits are harvested tgere now. The modern essence of the Kadayawan nowadays is to celebrate the 11 tribes of Davao City who resisted colonization, preserved thier cultural heritage and most importantly promoting peace among all tribes. I miss my hometown and maybe both of you will enjoy it too. Not just fruits and flowers, there are also chocolates, davao is the home of cacao brought by Spanish conquistador from Mexico. That cacao bean is extict in Mexico but it survived in Davao. They also brought with then the best pineapple. In Malagos farm, they cultivating artisan cheeses and more organic vegetibles. ☺
