I head to my city’s local market and snack shop to try tasty Dutch street food and snacks. In my opinion, the Dutch are masters of comfort food, and the snacks featured here are only a small sample of what is widely available in the Netherlands.

Tip: The saucijzenbroodjes of Vlaaamsch Broodhuys (3 locations in Utrecht) are in a league of their own. So good.

The best combo: Frietsaus and Sauté saus together (Frietsaus is what u get at almost any Friettent/Snackbar, it is less fat and sweet. We hardly eat Fries wit Mayo. Sauté saus is Pinda saus)

"Kapsalon" was invented when a barber-shop owner walked into a shoarma business in Rotterdam and asked for the combination of all. @03:20 It's not light at all! The dough is drenched withe butterfat. It's a variety of the southern one, which is much less calories, and tastes much better, it's a "worstenbroodje" @04:12 Owh, I'm glad to see you've discovered the taste of Belgium beers! Good on you! Did you try district food from the east or mid/east part of Holland? On the district Veluwe where inwas born there are delicious regional dishes tot be found, and nature is also very beautyful there White lots of forest and heath and sand drifts, and many wild animale to be found, succes as Red Deer, foxes, songbirds, and birds of prey badgers, And sometimes the Wolf more often seen

i love most things after living in NL for 8 years - but the food isn't one of the highlights. (IMO) We go to Germany or even Belgium for more enlightened cuisine . We are veg but not vegans. but I do like your channel.
