Don't forget if we get this video to 8,000 LIKES we will do a "Trying Every Trader Joe's Asian Food" video!! I also filmed more during this Costco session but it was too long to put in 1 video, so there will be ANOTHER Costco video coming up -- basically like a part 2 to this video! It'll be coming out next week ❤

I think legally in the US there needs to be a certain amount of milk in an ice cream for it to be called “ice cream”, and stuff that’s called “frozen dessert” doesn’t meet the amount. That’s why the cheap ice creams will say frozen dessert, and that’s why they taste weird lol. At least I think that’s right :p
@MultiEquations2 жыл бұрын
I think it's based on a certain percentage of butterfat. Lower butterfat means less cream was used unless it was a custard-based ice cream like frozen custard which uses egg yolks as a source of fat and thicker.

Shoutout to your fridge that housed all of your Costco frozen products. I would only be able to to try only one product at a time since my freezer is usually full of meat, vegetables and other frozen foods. Wish we have all these products at our local Costco

I absolutely love the Bibigo Beef Bulgogi Mandu! It's so so good. I love it pan-fried, but mine almost always sticks to my pan so I stick with the air fryer for simplicity, and the crunch is so addictive.

I'm in love with the Yawa Mochi ice cream. The matcha part isn't that sweet, but the red bean is. I hate overly sweet desserts, so its perfect. And your right, the mochi's texture is amazing. Definitely want to try the thai tea one.

Frankie and Jo's vegan ice cream ( soooo good and really unique flavors) Un Bien for Caribbean food, try anything with palomilla steak ( I like the burrito) kanakura Japanese restaurant in Fremont. Cafe turko in Fremont. Happy Lamb hot pot in Chinatown. Enjoy, have fun!

Nongshim Tonkotsu Ramen is my very favorite instant ramen bowl (I saw it in the thumbnail for the Part 3 video), so the Nongshim Udon being good is not surprising to me. I really like their products. (I still usually add in a soft boiled egg after I heat up the soup. By the time I get to the table, the egg is usually warmed through.)

I have a list of my top bakery places and items for Seattle: The beignets from dahlia bakery. They are made fresh and served with house made jam and mascarpone on the side. The kouign Amman from crumble and flake. Get both the classic and chocolate if possible. Last but not least, any slice of pie from pie bar served a la mode. I’m not even a pie person, but this place has convinced me to think I am.

I live just outside Seattle! In my opinion the BEST dim sum is at Harbor City Restaurant in international district! You should definitely give it a try if you’re looking for authentic dim sum! (I also used to live in Hong Kong, so can attest to its authenticity 🤪)
@SkipperJane2 жыл бұрын
The Bibigo mandu and mini chicken potstickers are some of my favorite Costco products. I heat them by putting some oil in the pan, and then I add about 2-3 tbs. of water to the frying pan and cover until the water has evaporated. Then you sear the sides to finish. I think the texture is improved by steaming them a bit before the pan frying.

You should try cooking the other pho with 1 minute cooking, to see if it improves the texture but have the soup you like 😊 *EDIT* Just finished the video, the reason why they call certain things "frozen dessert" versus being called "ice cream" is the percentage of milk fat and specific churning methods
