Indian food is really the only time i dont mind it being vegetarian. the flavors are just so complex and strong it doesn't even need meat sometimes. I also feel like Japanese cooking can make you forget about it being meat free as well. just well balanced.

The reason why you don’t really like the naan is cause you got the wrong one! You have to get the garlic naan in the frozen section next to the frozen Indian food! 🤤

My first Indian food was in college in the late '80s. I was so impressed, I went back every day for a month. Still love every Indian dish I have ever ate. They all have a flavor and style all their own. This is coming from a ribs and fried chicken boy raised in the heart of Dixie. Love to travel the world in food even when I can't physically. Food brings us all together!

Shepherd’s pie used to be a generic term and could contain beef. Now it’s just used for lamb. It’s English in origin, not Irish.

The frozen naan at Trader Joe’s is actually really good. If you get the Marsala sauce, chickpeas, spinach and cheese you can make a good pizza with it. Highly recommend!

TJs also has a 1lb refrigerated chicken tikka masala (in west coast stores) that’s really good. I really like the frozen chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, fish korma and channah masala. The fiery curry one is good, but I prefer the others. They also have lentil dish packets in the soup/chili section that are pretty good.
