Honestly, the new RPG mechanics are very well done. As well as that, from a gameplay perspective, it is soooo much more balanced and a genuine joy to play AT THE MOMENT. with that being said, monetisation is still disgusting and idk who’s idea it was to keep the city a thing but goddamn either get rid of it entirely or add more fast travel points than just your apartment.

I like how intricate next gen is even though some of the features don't have the best execution, such as the dunk "creator", all things are minor that they can work on making better moving forward. I find the 2k community weird, communities in other games get excited about silly things devs add, cause it means they can meme and have some fun with the game. Content creators could make some hella funny content with the whole runway thingy. But most will shit on it n call it a dumb feature

2K gets a bad wrap because of other sports games being complete garbage, which a long with the toxic kids only playing park, make it out to be the worst thing in the world is. We can all agree the micro transactions are too much, but the actual game is SO much more detailed than any competition, it’s not even close.

2k has a bad rap because they don’t listen to their player base and add in dumb features before they fix the actual problems with their games. What about that is hard to understand? People have been complaining about certain things for YEARS that haven’t been fixed or adjusted. And that’s not even factoring in the many times they’ve flat out LIED about their product lmao. They’re extremely anti consumer and the only reason anyone defends it is because there is literally no alternative. It’s either 2k or a basketball game with a $12 budget.

its fun but contests are a bit broken. sometimes people contest heavily out of nowhere, othertimes people can be in your face and it says open. also, open layups & dunks still randomly miss (not the flashy dunks, literally blew a wide open right stuck - up basic dunk)
