Gallery pastries has the best macaroon’s in Indy and they’re 1/2 proven in Wednesday. You can really taste the flavor and often can see them baking them. Love that sobro place! 💙

Hubby used to bring home Pierree Marcolini macaroons from business trips in Belgium. So so yummy. He has not been back there in years. Cannot get them in US. Afraid to try any because do not want to be disappointed. 😢😢😢. Peter thank you, you crack me up.😂😂😂

Macarons are French with a paste, and Macaroon are a different texture and coconut.

I have friends who are plumbers and they all swear up and down to never flush any wipes, even if it says flushable, because even if it doesn’t plug it right away, it will plug your pipes. Just a little bit of information.

I adore macarons. Not crazy about mass produced ones because they are grainy, but there is an amazing baker local to me and a few bakeries within an hour of me that make them and they’re amazing.

FWIW, I find that mass produced macarons are never very good, but macarons from a local bakery are always 💯. I once had a lavender macaron from a local bakery that was to die for.

Totally agree! The mass produced ones always taste the same & very bland! When they are fresh from a bakery, they are rather expensive, but definitely a tasty splurge 😋

I love macarons but completely agree that fresh ones are a completely different experience. A friend of mine like Laduron(?) but I prefer a tiny one in the old quarter of Nice. My birthday cake one year was one chocolate and one raspberry one. They were better than cake, that’s for sure. They deffo need to be kept in the fridge tho. Worth trying again.

I bake in my free time and I absolutely ADORE macarons, but they’re very technical and easy to mess up, so I don’t make them often. I’ve walked pass these macarons so many time at Costco & wanted to buy them, but now I won’t! Thanks Peter 😂

I make macarons and honestly Italian macarons are soooo much better than French. It can be hard to find them but if a local baker makes them, I'd recommend trying fresh rather than store bought. Macarons don't hold up well that's why they might not have been enjoyable
