It’s actually very common for people to understand language before they can produce it. I’m a teacher of bilingual and dual language students and when they begin learning the second language, we don’t expect production of language until a year or two later and it comes slowly. Ollie isn’t studying all the time, so his language acquisition seems perfectly normal to me.

Also there is performance anxiety. Which has a particular name when it’s about speaking a second language but I can’t remember it, ironically. So even when you do know what to say when you get nervous you just totally blank out!

I think it’s because as Ollie said many suggested last time that Armand evaluate or teach Ollie some French. On Instagram, Ollie tagged/messaged Armand to comment on his French in the NordVPN song 😂 which Armand watched the episode and said Ollie’s French is not it 😂 That’s why it’s only Armand in the video. Also, he will start Uni on Saturday he said in the video and why Max is not there or can’t contact Max coz Max already started University. At the end, Josh and Ollie said to Armand “see you on Christmas break” maybe they won’t film with them during the semester and will go to France as planned on Christmas break. I hope Max tag along. 😅
