I’m a quite a new subscriber and I can’t tell you how long I’ve been looking for somebody like you to watch - somebody who’s 100% real about their skin and their views. I feel like so many people online show what they want others to see (including their perfect looking skin etc), that it’s hard to actually believe their product recommendations. As somebody who struggles with skin texture, you’ve made me feel more confident in myself knowing it’s normal and it shouldn’t be an insecurity. Anybody who fails to see how much of an empowering, kind and genuine person you are, seriously needs to go and see a therapist or at least an optician 🤍

Hey Steph - glad to see you back (was wondering where you've been). Just wanted to say I can empathize with the self esteem issues, though most of us women can. As a now mature woman (I turned 50 in December), I've picked up a few pearls of wisdom along the way. Although it's easy to say ignore the negative comments than to put into practice (I really do get it - I used to have a beauty blog so I'm experienced with the hate), someone told me once to try and remember that when someone is judging you or picking you apart, it's really a reflection of how they feel about themselves. It's so much easier to judge someone else than to take a long look in the mirror. Try to keep that in mind when you come across these comments. It's helped me out a lot and to not take what people say personally. I've practiced it so much that comments like that, when they come, roll off my back now. I actually feel pity for the people making them. How horrible they must feel about themselves that they have to attack others? Also remember that 99% of the commenters would NEVER say these things if they were standing in front of you. Unfortunately, people can become whoever they want on the internet because they are shielded by the anonymity of a screen and keyboard. Lastly, they aren't the ones with a successful beauty channel on KZbin and making a career out of what they love. Not many can say that. And if it helps, delete delete delete. It's your channel, block the assholes if you have to. It's about YOUR mental well being and not theirs. Hope I said something that helped. 😊💜

As for mental health, I feel you girl!! My mental health is teetering on the edge just now. Last week a friend passed away, I have covid AND chicken pox and my bf has covid. He has chronic lung problems anyways and struggles to breathe on a daily basis. Covid has made that a lot worse to the point he has had to go on oxygen. I think you are wonderful. I also suffered from seasonal depression when I lived in Pittsburgh PA (now in Cali, so sun isn’t lacking) and found that a light box really helped me. They are kind of pricey but mine was worth every penny. You can sit in front of it when you are doing something like editing or reading, eating, whatnot. It helped me so so much with that grey ass Midwest weather.

Watching your videos is such an escape from these odd times we have been all living through these past few years. I find you very down to earth and relatable, like I’m literally spending some time with a good friend. You are a beautiful woman everyone has flaws its part of life nobody is perfect. Those people saying such awful things clearly have a lot of jealousy and anger inside themselves they need to work on. Also lol, Im turning 31 at the end of this month and Ive really noticed as Im getting older my energy levels arent the same as they used to be im tired all the time too. I started having smoothies in morning just fruit of your choice i usually do pineapple and mango,strawberry and peaches and just add water to it and nothing else and Im telling you It has helped hugely with my energy level. Also watch the movie called " the shack" on netflix it literally is life changing no joke. Its totally different from what it looks like, really has life changing lessons in it. I'm so sorry about your friend's dog! In the last 6 months I have lost 2 pets and it's terrible and super sad. The only silver lining I take from it is knowing they were loved and had a happy ending being safe and comfortable for however long they were in my care.
