I want the rest of the pond stories … I would be the exact same way wanting to protect the animals. We had a 🦇 in our house the other day and it was so scary it wasn’t flying and it was hurt 😢 I felt so bad the health department had us put it in a bag on ice to test it for rabies and it was so sad because he kept trying to live even after being in a sealed gallon bag . Turns out he didn’t have rabies … so that was scary but I just feel so bad he was hurt and had to be euthanized. I didn’t realize we had bats in Cincinnati because you never really see them … he was tiny and we’re not sure if one of the cats brought him in the house or what we had the doors open because we let our cats out back when we’re outside. That was a crazy experience i had this week … I hope those baby geese will be ok I don’t know what happens if the mom is not there will they still hatch and the dad be there … you should try and call someone to see if there’s anything someone can do .
