i have the white ganni-esque top and i literally just cut the elastic on the sleeve by pulling it through the holes in the embroidery, the fabric wasnt damaged at all and the sleeves are soooo much comfier. obviously its annoying to pay money for something and then have to alter it but it was super easy i def reccomend if you like the top!

Is there a way to tie it to prevent the boobage peaking out?

Yeah Glassons is definitely a New Zealand company and it's sad that now they're expanding they forget that and they market to the US a lot. They've even stopped selling certain colours and styles in NZ but they will sell it in Australia :(

I liked the last set the most, it looked so comfortable. Linen is such a nice material. I used to own a pair of linen shorts I used in the summer. It was perfect for hot days.

It was super cute!! And totally agree re: linen, the only thing I don't love is the crinkles 😅 Thank you so much for always watching and leaving lovely comments 💖

I really appreciate you mentioning the fabric content. I'm a sweaty perimenopausal girly trying to get by in the impending Aussie heat and polyester just doesn't equal comfort for me. Also linen has to have some elastane or nylon or my hefty thighs will bust right through that non-stretch :P

Glassons was my ride or die when I spent 5yrs living in NZ in my 20s (& Pagani 😂) I was hardly sweaty as it was so cold 😂😂😂 can't get away with that now I'm peri-menopausal & live in Brisbane

A denim mini skirt was definitely early 2000s. I had one I wore religiously in high school from 2004-2007 (ETA: usually with leggings or patterned tights underneath for the exact reason why you had issues with it lol). 90s was more longer skirts, pleats, velvet (think Phoebe from friends).

I agree, for me also, the first top (off shoulder) was the star. Never heard of Glassons, but I lead a very quiet life, in a very small Northeastern U.S. state.😉

I loved the lounge set! I started wearing only cotton or mixes of said fabric because it’s just comfier and like you said, doesn’t make me sweaty

In terms of fast fashion, Glassons is pretty good quality. Light years ahead of places like H&M, Princess Polly and Cotton On. Though they do have that one weird, very uncomfortable stretchy polyester 'knit' fabric they love to make everything out of for some reason, they really need to cut that shit out 😅 They're also guilty of the weird saggy armpit phenomenon that plagues a lot of fitted sweaters and cardis.

The white linen could make a good wedding trouser option. Why pay more if you are only going to wear it once.

O while the first off the shoulder top isnt my favorite but i liked everything else on you. I mean maybe not the most practical but cute. Lmao not the old man call out.

At this point I'm personally offended by off-the-shoulder-tops because of the bra-situation. It's just *so* uncomfortable. Looks good on you though. Nice shoulders.
@LucyLivinYT2 күн бұрын
The bra situation is diabolical, I've never met a strapless bra I've liked so we'll see 💀 But glad we agree it does look cute 😅
