Trying Jumbo Blue Crabs That I Ordered Online - LET’S EAT!! I discovered a seafood website, from Md, (USA) called “Crab Dynasty” that has much more affordable blue crabs, than any of the others. Let’s see if the quality is as good as they claim, for less money. It would be a HUGE honor to have you subscribe and thanks soooo much for watching! 😊

Just love your tips on how to break down a crab. You've made several videos like that now, and each one is helpful. But, GIRL!, ordering seafood through the mail?????

@@AyBeeSee-g6k yup, saves me hours of driving to get truly good crabs, as i live in northern va and there is really nothing good here since our semi-local crab house shut down unexpectedly and the others crabs are not very good at all. so, i loved this place,,, crab dynasty, so much that i just ordered another 1/2 bushel before the season is over. they got here today, in perfect condition, nice and chilled, just like before and they freeze very well. im set for a few months , as my freezer is big enough to fit these in with other food i have. give them a try but hurry as they wont have them much longer. i got the picked crab meat but it was not great, so stick with the whole crab. and i order with no season,, but this 2nd order, i did the beer steam with no season. i tried one, cold, when they arrived, omg, i didnt think it could be any better than the first NON beer batch but it was even a little better. so, try it but i suggest no seasoning as we never know what it will taste like. just reheat with your favorite is my suggestion. thx so much for chiming in. :-)

Those looked so darn delicious. A. Linda immediately checked their website, and they will ship to Hawaii! But it will probably cost just as much as the crab! But they might be worth it...they looked so good! When we could get live crab, we loved the female version with the eggs and mustard! Yeah the other stuff is no Bueno! LOL. Hi Bryan!
@gailsfoodandstuff3 ай бұрын
@@titasmom678 omg, YOU are so wonderful! and ask her to let me know how she liked them. i had NO idea they can ship that far but i assume its next day fed ex? for me it was just about 20 bucks next day ground ups. i even froze the rest and tried some after that, still amazing.. i filmed a little of it but it just didnt really fit into the video that well. hey, so, get this.. so i did a really cool “closing out or wrapping up” of our visit to myrtle beach with a little karaoke that i did, and some cool pics with my singing in the background but youtube dinged it so badly, no matter how i tried to chop it up to avoid c/r, but they kept dinging me so i had to scrap it. i spent hours on it. sigh. oh well, next.. right? lol. love ya! (and yes, i can say that and bryan loves you too). he said, if we ever go to Hawaii, we are going to lean on you for places to eat, see, etc.
@titasmom6783 ай бұрын
@gailsfoodandstuff Absolutely will give you ideas for places to eat. The only thing is that it will be 2x what you paid in Mrytle Beach for most places 😕😞. Yeah, singing seems hard to get on KZbin. But how come I've seen people singing with this musician , with what I assume, are c/r songs. How does that get a pass? I don't get it. I'll have to look up what this channel is called.
@gailsfoodandstuff3 ай бұрын
@ my guess is that he made the music himself. bryan and i have seen this guy or similar guys, and they use their own music but with karaoke, its with c/r music. the rule is, break it up under 10 seconds and it wont get a c/r. i have done that recently, in my myrtle videos, and it worked like a charm, but that was background music.. for some reason, the karaoke music gets caught every time. sigh.

Happy Halloween Gail and Bryan! Tools required for puzzle box opening could be branded with your channel name, include printed puzzle box opening instruction, recipes, and sell on your channel (revenue stream). Those are the things I would need to order ANY seafood. BTW, why are they called Blue Crabs? It's always entertaining to see what you do with the puzzle boxes you call seafood (crawfish, crab, etc.), Thank you.

@@InvisibleVisible793 you are too funny, lol. they are a blueish color before they are cooked. same as main lobster, its a darker brownish, but turns bright red when cooked.
@InvisibleVisible7933 ай бұрын
@@gailsfoodandstuff I would think Bryan could take the dowels (smacker) and very easily imprint your channel name and any other tool you would sell. Printed instructions (steps to get to the meat of the critters) and just "a recipe" could be printed with your channels name. Throw a small sample of your favorite seasoning. The post office has at-home address labelers/postage station - very small - I think they're free - you reload postage cost. Throw that stuff in a box/$40. Gail has another revenue stream, grows her channel and her and Bryan go to Hawaii with their new disposable income. Make one set, feature it on a video - see how many orders you get.

@@gailsfoodandstuff A TRUE story for you: I lived in Nevada for 18 years and for 18 years I threw the never-ending tumbleweeds into a big, tall box and crushed them with a shortened 2X4 to easily trash them. THEN I read a true story about a multi-millionaire. She took a web-building course at her local college. For her final grade she had to build a fully functioning website. She did that, got an A. As a lark she had put on her website small, medium and large, white, gold or pink spray-painted TUMBLEWEEDS for weddings and western-themed events. Of course, to get her grade she had to have photos, prices, S&H, order forms, invoices - the whole nine yards. Oh, did I mention she's a multi-millionaire?

Always have them steamed with seasoning. Old bay. Or j o. From Baltimore is best. Can’t say they use to much seasoning. The more the better.

I still had a question, so I went back and watched this from the beginning. Now I have more questions. Don't judge, I've always been a landlocked girlie. What did that box weigh (delivery fella made it appear that it was heavy)? My guess is (because you said, "reheat") that they arrived red in color, but if fresh they are blue in color? They really should come with instructions - what to eat/what not to eat. "Take out the lungs" - Ewwww!
@gailsfoodandstuff3 ай бұрын
@@InvisibleVisible793 all good questions. the box was 31 pounds, thats the weight if the ice packs, cooler and crabs. it was heavy. they dont come with instructions as their are many ways to crack them open and most stick with their own way. thats why i show “my” way of doing it. yes, once cooked, they turn red. the have a blue grey look before cooked. same for cold water lobster, alaskan crab, etc. when i said fresh, i mean not smelly. if they are cooked after they die, thats a HUGE no no. they change, chemically, to smell like ammonia. they need to be cooked while alive. yup, sounds awful but its part of life. you can stab them in the heart and cook them but that takes a lot of time and a big buz that delivers tons of crab doesnt waste time or they may die while waiting and go bad.
