Trying Halal Filipino Carinderia in Manila, Philippines
Carinderias (Karinderya) are small family-owned eateries or small restaurants where your everyday hard-working Filipinos have their inexpensive meals in between work or school. Sit-down street food for the locals and everybody is welcome to try them all.

We just realized that we haven't done any proper video of any Halal Eats in Manila.
So here's a couple of places recorded with our point and shoot camera during our quick trips to Quiapo and Green Hills either on our way to or from the airport (NAIA) coming from or going to another city or country. These hole in the wall places are truly great to experience everyday Filipino lives.
We plan on doing a proper video about HALAL FOODS in Manila Area, hopefully insha'allah next year.
If you guys have any recommendations of any halal places we should check out, let us know their must try dishes on the comments section below.

I liked this video!!! Saw plenty of halal places in Davao but did not try them. Was a little nervous about how I would be treated even though I am a Muslim from America. Also I've subscribed to your channel.

wa alaykum salam akhi, the first restaurant is some place near the masjid of Quiapo (QUIAPO, Manila). It looked the busiest place that day, after salat-tul-jumaa, so we tried it and it was delicious. not sure if they even have a sign for that carinderia. I just happened to have my small camera with me . The second restaurant was right next to the masjid in Greenhills Shopping Mall. Last time I was there, they’re about to move or relocated to a newer building together with the masjid. Sorry bro, no exact address. Thanks for watching though.,
