That FroZen drip grip was hard to get my hands on but I got it. You can’t wait for sales to come through with Soultanicals. You gotta get their products as soon as they’re in stock. I may be able to find that moisture guru at Sally’s or Target though.

Yeah, the Guru is pretty easy to get your hands on. I can't to try the Fro'Zen again using less so that I don't get the flakes. I love the definition it gave me. Thanks for watching!

Love the look! This is a hard gel and definitely dries your hair I use it with Marula Muru moisture alone or I add my Camille rose. You definitely have to use ya best moisturizing leave in with it. Less is better with this gel cuz as you can tell it can easily tip into flake city when you add too much. But once you get the combo right BOMBBB wash n go

That’s my favorite gel the moment. I pair it with can’t believe it’s not butta or the nature’s little secrets Irish moss styling cream. I glaze the gel on my hair after I put the cream. It not only last longer but it does not flake. Try it a different cream and definitely use less gel. Your hair looks nice and defined.

Your hair looks great minus the gray cast and the flakes. I love the shape and volume. Reminds me of your wash and go using the Camille Rose cream under the Alikay Lemongrass hold it gel. Goes to show you that you have beautiful hair regardless of the products you put on it. Thanks for sharing!

TFS! I used this with gello shot from eco slay and got shinier results but the hold is crazy lol I’m also still cocktailing to see different outcomes with the gel. I think the gel give more cast and hold when you don’t apply water to it. So I’m using it like a topper gel or finisher. Humectant based gels like uncle funky or kinky curly might be good combo, will have to try.

I've used this with the Frizz Wizz leave-in and Kera Care jelly and got very good results. The Kera Care gives me good definition, but no hold, so I add a tiny bit of the Frozen on top, and curls poppin, lasts for days, no flakes.

Thank you! Yes, you need to get your roots, especially if you want it to last a long time and have more movement. If you want bigger, fluffier hair then you can go lighter on the roots. P.S. Thanks for commenting your thoughts on the live; I appreciate your input.

Hey! Thanks for the recommendation. I really like the gel and the definition; I just think I used too much. I am going the try it again using less gel to see if I can get the same results just without the flakes. I am not giving up on this gel yet so stay tuned for a redo.

I like the definition, shape and fullness. I haven’t tried that gel yet. I think you should retry again with Knot Sauce and Gel or Moisture Guru & Gel

I didn’t like the gel when I used it before. I tried it with the frizz whiz only and the gel dried my hair out. I will try it again and add the marula muru moisture guru. Your hair looks great.

I think that adding The leave in saved you, otherwise your Hair would have been dry. The Marula muru guru isn t enough. The gel in my opinion has a strong hold. Your Hair was clumped. Overall it looks really good after , Hope the flaking went away. Tip apply a tiny bit of oil before applying any new gel . I Never have flakes ever since doing The loc method with my gel .the C being my gel

I loved the definition and shape, but the flakes...NO...and they didn't go away. However, I am going to try the gel again but not use so much and I will use a different product under it and see how that works. Thanks for the tip on the oil.

I LOVED the clumps/definition & the shape!! But I hate you ended up with the residue 😔 I want to try the gel but can never get my hands on it... And as far as the live, any day is good but the evenings would be best! Oh & just a tiny observation.. the piano music was a bit of a distraction bc it was a bit loud while you were talking 😊

I have tried that combo but did not have The knot sauce. My Hair was stiff and dry. I used all The marula murmuru guru. Still have full jar of The gel which i use as a edge gel ...lol You used a lot 😳 let me wait and see The result..

Yeah, I don't think the Guru has enough moisture either. I am going to try the gel again with something else, but I definitely like the hold it gave me.

I didn’t like the gel because it gave me a crunch and flakes. I will try to use it with a moisturizer 🧴 now. Also the gel may have not stuck to your strands bcz of all the many moisturizing products you used beforehand. Maybe use one. Nice turn out though.

@@kandistaub9978 If you usually use a gel, then I would say it may work. This is more of a eco or wetline consistency but not as hard. It is not a Uncle Funky's Daughter or I create Hold consistency. So you have to decide if you think it would work for you. It depends on your hair and what you like, not whether you are Hispanic-Caucasian or not. I hope that helps. Thanks for tuning in.

I love how it turned out aside from the cast and flakes of course. The definition was in point! I haven't used the gel yet but it is on the to buy list. Unfortunately I am not on Instagram. I'm a little old fashioned and it's a little too much for me lol. Going live on the weekend would work well I think and just regular girl talk would be good. TFS❤
