Thanks for sharing! I tried this maybe in 2019 with one of their leave in's and though it gave SUPER hold I hated it because of the flaking. But I can see how using something like UFD under it may be better and not using a lot of the product would help solve that issue so I may revisit this. By the way, there is some controversy going on with curly magic as you will see a change in their ingredients on their newest bottles (saw this on one's in Target). Glycerin is now the 2nd ingredient, and Jojoba oil and wheat protein are now in the top 4 ingredients. So there are bottles out there with 2 different ingredients listed. This was a BIG discussion in seesomecurls society where many have reached out to the company. UFD is saying that this has always been the formula (the new one), but they are in the process of "updating" their labels and website to reflect all the ingredients in their gel. For me this is problematic. Either they have been lying about their ingredients for YEARS, or they are for some reason lying now about changing the formula. If you reach out to them they will tell you the same thing. But I'm struggling because even if the products perform the same this is an integrity issue for me not knowing if I can trust their labels. So I just wanted to make you aware. Sorry for the long post.

Yeah most outcomes are related to product combination and application. It’s so good when you find combinations that go well together and consistently for various clients. This combo has worked very well for many of my clients. I’m not ready to let go of curly magic, though It’s not clear why they would change the ingredients since it‘s been working so well. Now that I am aware of the change in formula I will continue observing how my hair and others are responding with this in mind. 🥰

Hey Fatima, I am almost positive I responded to this comment when it posted I recall mentioning how I attended a hair show and stood right next to the Soultanicals booth. But did not purchase at the time. Look at all these years later. Now their products are in great demand. I am very happy seeing their progress. Hope you get lots of goodies.

I was not notified but saw you had posted another video🙂🙂🙂 I'm still learning my hair for some reason, however, I noticed quality products do make a difference in how my hair performs hydration wise. Like a comment posted, I do struggle with finding the right product that will weigh my tight coils down. I am able to smooth it down as a low ponytail, but still not able to wear a wash and go with it weighed down. BTW, your hair is still looking beautiful & grows as fast as grass! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🦋🦋🦋💖💖💎💎

Finding product combinations that will provide hydration and a strong hold is a part of this project as well. I believe this product combination is a good one to try. Just keep it mind it does not change your curl pattern to make your curls longer. Just the initial day of styling is usually very elongated due to hydration and hold, but eventually as the days go by, the curls tend to get a little tighter.

Interesting 🤔 Have you ever been to a salon to have your hair treated and styled by a professional curly hair stylist? It is a wonderful opportunity to have someone show you what your hair is capable of and even advise you if what you are expecting is plausible or not.

Directed to this video by Fo Adunni. Why would your hair not be soaking wet after rinsing out the conditioner? Did you squeeze some of the water out before applying the UFD? Thanks

Good Evening! I need HELP! I was ill with Covid in June. For the last month my hair has been shedding 2-3 times more than usual. This is an after effect of Covid. Can you please give me any advice on what I should do to stop or slow down the shedding?
@EmbraceNaturalBeauty3 жыл бұрын
It's good to know you recovered from Covid. I am sorry to hear about the excessive shedding. It is an indication of something happening internally. It may very well be that your body is off balance and trying to regulate itself. However, the best way to know what is going on is to have an examination from a medical doctor. I encourage you to seek a board certified dermatologist who specializes in hair loss to help properly diagnose your condition. Dr. Achiamah Oseitutu, Dr. Yolanda Lenzy, Dr. Jeanine Downie and Dr. Hope Mitchell are a few that I am familiar with. If they are not accessible to you try the resources you can find on their instagram page or website to find another qualified dermatologist. Wishing you all the best!

Hello! Your hair has grown so MUCH! I'm wondering if you have any tips for single strand knots. Without fail I get them when doing a wash and go (I have 3c/4a hair, curly and coarse) Thank you!
@EmbraceNaturalBeauty3 жыл бұрын
When your ends start acting up it’s an indication that it’s time for a trim. The washngo just highlights what was not as noticeable with your other styles.
@michellesamuels84353 жыл бұрын
You have fine strands, correct? How do you manage single strand knots with wash n' go's? I love Uncle Funky's Curly Magic for the moisture factor but I still get single strand knots even when I properly detangle or have a proper trim.
@EmbraceNaturalBeauty3 жыл бұрын
I have fine strands concentrated in my low porosity section in the crown of my head. If you are getting all of your split ends removed, yet still experiencing single strands knots you may have an aversion to some ingredients in your products, or the cuticle layer of your hair may be compromised. There are so many factors involved, you would do well to work directly with a tight curl specialist who can thoroughly examine your hair during an in salon service.

I like wearing my hair curly but my ends always get tangles and within a day or two it feels dry. Why is that?
@EmbraceNaturalBeauty3 жыл бұрын
If it just your ends acting up, they are not holding in the moisture anymore, it's time to trim them. Fresher stronger ends should perform better.
