Thanks for the review! Dunkin had the chocolate crossiants on the menu many, many years ago for a long time, then suddenly stopped. I'd like to see their individual pizzas come back again -- they were pretty good for the price! And Munchkin appears to be indicating that the quality of the water is good! 😉 (Because if you don't have that, nothing else matters. 😘)

Thank You for Sharing🤗💞 I used to go to Dunkin Donuts in Oceanside, CA before I moved to SoCal's local mountains. My Dad's favorite treat is Dunkin Donuts famous Apple Fritters..so whenever I took my Cavalier Pups to the local Dog Park, it was treat time for me and my Dad afterwards. Dad got the fritter and I would get a coffee (Dunkin Donuts Special Blend) with my donut treat! My pups were happy, I was happy, and Dad was always Extra Happy that I would make a special stop at Dunkin Donuts on Mission Avenue in Oceanside, CA. Unfortunately, we are not blessed to have a great donut shop such as Dunkin Donuts in the local mountains... sure wish they would consider bringing one up here someday... God Bless👭😉🐶💖

Chrissy, I have read your book and it is very thoughtfully put together. I love it. I have a couple of quick questions. I’m hoping you can help with. First, we have a single Peking duck. We are pretty sure it’s a male. we bought it with a second duck when it was a duckling, but the other duckling passed away when it was young. We have found a female muskovy duck and we are putting the two together together. They seem OK together, the male doesn’t like it when the female is in the pool with him, but she seems to have her way of dealing with him. The one thing I’m concerned about is that the Muskovy duck might not be eating yet. I have put down three bowls of food in its area, and I have pushed the muskovys duck into the food so it knows it’s there, but it keeps walking away from it. The muscovy duck is also in the pen with the peking. when the Muscovy duck is in the pool which it seems to like, I’ve thrown a few pieces of corn and a few meal worms and it ate a few and that was it. It is drinking water, which I have witnessed while it’s in the pool. Is this kind of standard issue when a duck gets moved to a new home? The muskovy duck has only been here for less than 24 hours total.

@@Krew51 hi! Firstly thank you so much for reading my book, I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Yes, “hunger strikes” are quite common when introducing a duck to a new flock or area. It doesn’t always happen, but I’ve experienced it with my own ducks at least twice. I was once so concerned I even brought them to the vet, who assured me it was normal for any bird species to do this. You can try adding water to their food to make it more enticing. Also giving them any sort of live food which stimulate them to chase after it and eat it. So you could get live mealworms from most pet stores. Live fish work too, but only if they know how to eat those first. Tossing food into the pond isn’t a bad idea either, even if it’s just treats. For a while I could only get Nutmeg to eat lettuce but she started eating regular duck food eventually :)
