Have you tried using Matte Top coat instead of a shiny one? It helps with sticking the nail and not needing to buff to make it a rough surface

I use matte rubber base coat. Works nicely!

I use base coat to apply mine when doing the pop off method... I might make a video for my channel cause I don't see very many people do it this way and it works so well!
