The Sisley lip liner on its own is so pretty. And then you put the Rose Mexico lipstick on! Wow! I have to try both.OMG, I feel you on the "You are so dressed up! Where are you going?!" Walking around the city with heels is exercise! Phew! Too bad we don't live closer...we could hang out and peruse through all the makeup counters, and window shop!

Hahaha! "Where are we all hiding?" We're all probably all in our makeup caves editing videos or swatching lipsticks. 😂 As for that Sisley concealer, it is still at the top of my wishlist. Along with pretty much everything from Surratt. You looked lovely for your BBFF date and it was fun seeing the makeup in different lights. It'll be interesting to hear if you keep on your serial friendship dating streak. Your bathroom looks great, by the way! That dark teal color is so luxurious looking. This was such a relaxing vlog! Ha! This is so true. We must all be playing with our makeup inside or are in Sephora collecting numerous swatches for hours. 😂 Sisley’s concealer is lovely. Very hard to beat, but I am loving using this one from Surratt as well. I think you would really enjoy their products. I’m glad you enjoyed the different lighting! My iPhone provides the most hideous light and image quality imaginable (for when I was filming outside), but at least it provided a different perspective for the makeup look. 😂 Thank you! At first I was worried I had made a big mistake, but once it dried down, I loved the colour (much like some foundations 😉). I am now obsessed with decorating it and adding pops of contrasting colour. Thank you for always being here! 💕

@@bornblushing maybe that's where we need to start friend dating. At Sephora. It would make so much more sense. 😂 Yes - iPhones are so tricky to film with! I had so much trouble getting the lighting to look right when I tried. And despite all my effort, it was still weird. If you're not careful you're going to have to make interior design vlogs. I'm eager to see how you accessorize everything. It's a pleasure to "visit" with you!

I can’t find anyone into skincare and makeup like I am. It’s crazy to me. I love all the pampering and self care. It’s a gazzilion dollar industry. They have to be around. Love that bathroom color.

Loved this video! Rose Mexico is so beautiful on you. I can definitely relate to everyone commenting about me being "so dressed up". I tend to think that I'm always pretty appropriately dressed and others are just underdressed. I would never underdress just to fit in. I'd rather be appropriate for the occasion. Your bathroom looks great and your neighborhood is so beautiful!

Ahhh this was so fun to watch! I was in Vegas during your last post but did my skincare while viewing, only mine was much quicker 😝. I’ve heard such great things about that foundation/brand but haven’t tried their line yet. I looove how nice that Chanel bronzer looked blended out on you! So fresh and subtle. I always enjoy GRWM bc it’s interesting to see how others apply their makeup as well and which brushes they use. You also have such naturally deep eyebrows you’re lucky! I thought I did until I started noticing how faint they look in photos 😂. I LOVE the new bathroom color!! Would definitely love to see it with its final accessories. Do you ever shop at Jonathan Adler? I associate him w/color 🤪 Your friend date sounded fun! I’m glad it felt reciprocal too. I’m impressed by how many you’ve been on 🤣. Definitely easier to hang out w/people who are more relaxed about eating too. And your comment about the shoes made me giggle bc of the recent Barbie movie. Those pink sandals are adorable!

I’m so glad you enjoyed watching! Haha, me rabbiting on and on definitely made my skincare routine longer than usual in that video! I couldn’t see the bronzer well at all when applying so it was hilarious to watch back, but thankfully that Chanel bronzer blends out so well that you really can’t overdo it. 😂 It was fun! I will say it is becoming quite a time-intensive hobby and really is pushing me out of my normal bubble by going on all of these BFF dates, but it is definitely helping me see what qualities I prioritize in friends and in friendships. I’ll definitely post an update of the bathroom once I’ve finished it! I had never heard of Jonathan Alder, so thanks for mentioning them! I just went on their site, and they have such cute stuff. I LOVE decorating with bold, saturated colours. Thank you for always being here! 💕

I’m also searching for a friend who likes makeup and skincare, it’s so weird that there’s obviously a lot of people interested in this but in person it seems so hard to find luxury beauty junkies like us😅, I’ve even gone to beauty events recently and still no luck, hopefully you’ll find an even better friend match soon🤞. Oh Brittany!! I adore you...trying to make a friend 😃 I am always looking around at other girls to see how they wear their makeup but not a lot of people seem to wear too much if any at all. But it's not a fancy place around here & not much to do. I still like to dress up & do my makeup even for a casual date nite with McHubby 😊 She rode a bike for an hour? Sorry!! Red flag to me!! 🤣🤣 I LOVE those sandals!! I wanted some Gucci hot pink sandals for Summer i saw on the Nordstrom website but they didn't have my size & i have learned to always get the correct size!! I've noticed the same thing about other women's makeup! Here, it's usually: foundation (and a lot of it), concealer, maaaaaaybe some bronzer, lots of eyeliner, a nude lip, and eyelash extensions. Where is the colour!? I love dressing up, even for staying in sometimes. It makes me feel more energetic somehow! Love your date nights. 💕 I also thought of the loooooong bike ride as a red flag at first, given my aversion to sweat and physical exercise in general. 😅 Ah! Yes, I remember your story about your Manolos that sadly did not fit... inconsistent shoe sizes are so annoying! Thank you for always being here, bebe! Your comments always make me smile. 💕✨

I totally understand! It is quite a strange way to meet people when you think about it. I had to go through a few weird conversations to finally meet some nice people on there! The part that put me off the most were the people who were on there to very obviously gain an Instagram following. I do recommend trying it out though! I got a bit addicted to it and got carried away with swiping but I do have a few nice friends from it now :)
