Just some tips for people going to this particular Ren Fest. When you park your car- make sure to take down the license plates and photos of your car and the cars beside you and even in back. I say this because one time me and friends were there all day until closing hours and came back to see that someone hit and run. My friends car was super damaged on the left side tire D: and of course no cameras/no security or witnesses. :\ You park in rows of grass land and pine trees. Also, take a small backpack with waters- everything is obviously over priced. I would not recommend going alone (after dark camping etc.) if you are a woman. The people can get super drunk and raunchy- always go with someone, preferably a trust worthy mans.

It's always good to try new foods! Always loved Scotch Eggs and empanadas are the same concept as the Cornish Pasty that have been around since the 1300s (and they're probably much older than that lol) Perfect Ren Faire food!

I love Tx Renfest. My go tos are scotch eggs, bangers and mash, steak on a stick, fried mushrooms on a stick and frozen lemonade. The deep fried bacon is tasty too.

Had scotch eggs at a place I used to work at with some mustard, freakin delicious!! And I feel empanadas are best as sweet ones, my favorite are typically the pumpkin or the pineapple ones. Can't wait to go in a couple weeks with my husband for our anniversary
