There was a South African chain restaurant called Mozambik there but I’ve just seen that it closed. It’s not that we don’t “travel”, we just don’t migrate to other countries at the rate that other Africans do. We are attached to home

About the camera thing, in 🇿🇦 people are generally private and we are well aware of our constitutional rights to not be filmed without consent n stuff like that which makes us very hyper conscious of things like that. Whenever people are filmed it's usually to expose criminal behaviour or racist behaviour. Not that we are behind on things like content creation we are very much aware of that world n that business hustle but we just prefer someone to ask permission first not just shove a camera in your face. Being filmed is not natural after all.

@mbawafaith146 Жыл бұрын
Marvin can you try other African country meals in the U.S.A one day? I am recommending Cameroonian food (Ndole, fufu corn and kati kati, Achu, Eru, okonghobong, Cornchaff, turning cocoyams and soooo many more. We have tooooo many great traditional meals and each tribe out of the 257 tribes has a meal unique to them. Our agriculture is extremely rich so we are home to a lot of food crops .

You are right Mandla, the South African restaurant is more like a Nandos, except for the fried chicken burgers. The flame grilled chicken is typically South African. We love healthier options as opposed to American cuisine of deep frying and too much grease.

I enjoyed the video thanks, you reminded me of the time I went around Bulawayo city in Zim looking for Naija food. There's someone who does it for events and not for individuals so I'll try Harare coz I'm told there is a place where they sell Naija food there. I'm so interested in trying Naija food.
