Agreed, the last one was really great on sista; seems like a nice way to transition to the gray or lighter colors. The lighter shades make you both look terrific. Blonde with the darker roots looked lovely on Frannie-Shorter style especially, except the last two from Amazon. Thanks for helping make my wig journey both insightful & joyful. I have frontal Fibrosing Alopecia and have had to start wearing hair pieces to cover the top and sides. I also have a few wigs. Recently went with 5 friends for girls weekend, took all my hair pieces and wigs and it was a blast! Everybody tried on all the wigs and pieces. Had our wine … so much fun. I am very self conscious about my total baldness in half my head and the girls made me feel more comfortable with my fake hair. Thanks for all your wig info and videos.

@@FranniesHair Sure! I love to learn 😻 I also learned how to gently wash and condition a wig and hang it upside down to drip dry without combing to keep the set. When dry the big shake makes it almost look brushed. A wig can be worn like 18 times before washing or whenever it needs freshening. I bought a tall wig stand with adjustable height (Wish) to work on them and it’s very relaxing in front of the TV at night. I’m just buying cheap wigs for now to practice on. But they’re looking really good so far! I just cut very little at a time because the fibers don’t grow back! Some T-pins to hold it on the black head and a bristly skinny brush and crochet cap came with it. I also buy toppers and wear a long and short one to look like Jaclyn Smith on Charlie’s Angels. Lol. I wrecked my hair with black dye bc I mixed with brown and did my whole hair length and then used a leopard electric hair cap that was HOT!!! Hair has been falling and breaking at an alarming rate for months so I thought I’d give my hair a break (no pun intended!) while it looks so frizzy. Thanks for subscribing! I haven’t added anything in 8 years. I just turned 64 so I’m glad I did the videos when I did. You and your two sisters are so beautiful and I feel like I’m there with ya’ll at a wig party 🎉. 👰‍♀️. It’s great seeing the wigs before I buy. I used to do ballroom dance so wigs, lashes, and bling are my thing and I’m trying to feel confident in them. I’m surprised at how many people wear wigs, even teenagers. Also, black women are experts in everything! When I go out I notice womens hairstyles and condition and try to spot wigs. I think women on Fox News wear them. I also think Melania Trump is wearing them and I saw one just like her hair. It never looks like a bad hair day. Well I got the idea to try something different after hearing about the tip to use 2 stocking caps. My circumference is 21 1/4 and so far all the average size caps I bought are roomy and itchy. I tried this: wig band, stocking cap, second wig band. Wow. Holds wig very secure and I’m not experiencing itching. (Perhaps from less shifting?)😊

I really did like the long Amazon wigs too, but I would need to do something with the part. I have seen videos where people use eye shadow and pluck around the part to make it look more natural. My hair is to my waist and when I put on my wigs, I french braid my hair down from the center part to behind my ears. I then wrap the braids around my head smoothly and use large clips to hold them. I then put on my wig cap. It works great.

High end wigs all nice. Long, curly Amazon is pretty on you. I would put a square headband to camouflage part, or sunglasses on top. Other than that, if I could afford two nice wigs, life is too short for Amazon wigs. I do think teens could have fun with them. I taught school for 25 years so I know about budgeting. I have a large collection of wigs, but I’ve been at it for 5 years. I have a few Paula Young’s. Some of hers are very nice and getting better. My first priority is comfort. Sharon would need to teach in one for a day to know if it’s comfy. I think she should consider something like Godiva’s Secret Candice topper. Also their two scrunches together, one curly and one straight. Those would be so cool and comfy in classroom. I like your hair long or shoulder length. Frannie has a winning look with that wonderful bob. Love you two together!

I love it when you have someone else there and you compare. The short, blonde one …….when the bangs were down long in your face, you looked like Leslie Stahl. The thing with Amazon wigs…….they are really hot! I live in a hot climate, and I can wear them only in the winter.

@Frannie's Square yes, I use my concealer and just put a small amount on the part. I looked up videos on how to make an inexpensive synthetic wig look more natural. They can be nice pieces, just gotta give them a little love 💕. Love your channel ❤️

I was always under the impression that a good wig costs a lot...I am so pleased to see you proving that isn't so. It appears that wigs have come a long way when it comes to cost and comfort. Balding in women is so common today, your videos are more help than you realize.

Loved watching you and your sister trying on wigs. The first ones you tried on were perfect on the two of you, they looked so natural. I was surprised when you said you had a wig on in the beginning of the video, because it looks absolutely natural. I would never have known you were wearing a wig. I actually liked the two inexpensive wigs that were long. You both looked great and I loved the color of them, too. I bought one similar and wore it on vacation because it was such an extreme change from my short hair, but it was lots of fun, too. Thanks for all the info and sharing such a fun video...I had to come back and edit this comment because I wrote it while watching. The wigs you're wearing at the end of the video also look fantastic and very natural. Your sister's hair is shorter with that wig by Raquel Welch and looks very flattering, your "hair" looked great, too...loved the highlights in the wig you had on. Pam here. I saw where she braided 2 braids behind each ear low wrapped to back crossing each other. Then the band. 2 braids cut the thickness of hair gathered.

That last Amazon wig Sharon tried on looked like a nicely shaped wig. The problem was the bangs! When Sharon tried to pull back each side of those dark bangs they first looked like a mustache on her forehead, and then when she continued to pull them back even further, it looked as if she pulled up a sleep mask! I love watching you two together. I’ve wondered about Amazon, but I was concerned about quality and fit. Thanks so much for this review.
