Ohhh, Miki... Dune Kiss has me in a chokehold! I keep on thinking about it and since posting this video, I've finished the sample I had of it. It's such a nuanced and sultry nude. And I absolutely love and agree with your philosophy of makeup being your armour -- I feel the exact same way. Ahhhh, thank you for your compliment on my makeup look! I love how high-end lipstick shades are so nuanced and more muted at times. Your makeup at the end is so flattering and beautiful on you. I don't think some of the shades u tried were unflattering on you but I think the ones you liked the most were so great because they did have a more sophisticated affect, if that makes sense. This video was so enjoyable, you truly can pull off any lipstick shade!! I have never tried Louboutin lipsticks but now I’m tempted. The colors you bought are super pretty (I especially loved the Milky Light + Dior Lip Oil combo, so beautiful and sophisticated), and I also loved Dune Kiss and Rouge Louboutin matte. Hopefully, I can try these lipsticks at some point! It’s so funny, lately I’ve been kind of obsessing over Dita Von Teese and her style so Christian Louboutin has also been on my mind, and of course, red lipstick. Hi Natalia! Thank you so much. It’s funny, I’ve gone to Holt Renfrew (the high end department store here) and browsed makeup there so many times, but I always skipped the Christian Louboutin counter! After trying these lipsticks, I’m curious to explore the line more. Isn’t Milky Light such a special shade? And Dune Kiss still has a chokehold on me! Hopefully by the time I’ve finished my sample of it, I’m over it. 😂 Dita von Teese is amazing. I was also obsessed with her once. She is a whole vibe! commenting as i go: circular mirrors are secretly epic. i thought my free glossier one would be whatever but it’s by my desk and i use it every friggin day 😂 015 Crazy Pale: it looks like a nice nude color on you! incredible w/the chocolat liner imo :). i only feel concealer lips when the shade is lighter than my skintone and you see the awkward cracks haha. 003 Mundo Red: i too was thinking it matches the mirror perfectly and it totally pops. 🔥 815 Lillies Dream: laughing that i was also thinking it’s a nice wearable berry. the Guerlain shade/name looked gorgeous too - luckily i missed it 😂 Have you experienced any bleeding with the Sooo Glow shades? The pigment is impressive! Satin 332 Dune Kiss: so far this is my favorite as well but i’m cackling that i keep thinking these things just before you say so 😂 Satin 335 Soft Goji: agree the tone is less chic/impactful on you but wow the Sisley Chocolat liner is saving the day lol. Really selling it in this video 😂 Dune Kiss seems similar to Peach Cabaret in the swatches but to me it’s the most chic color on you in this trial so far. The pale one is lovely with the lipliner but so far I’d only recommend Dune Kiss if it’s different enough from PC and Mundo Red ❤ Satin Rouge Louboutin: also stunning - a great winter red as its deeper Matte 318 Epic Brunette: interesting name. One place up from Soft Goji for me. I can really see how cooler/brighter colors pop on your winter complexion hehe. Matte 005 Red Dramadouce: along with Soft Goji & Epic Brunette - less impactful imo tho to be fair sometimes you want that haha. Matte 001 Rouge Louboutin for some reason I like the satin version more but do agree applying an oil over gives the matte formula more versatility While Mundo Red & Dune Kiss were my favorites of your samples, the two you got compliment Dune Kiss so hopefully they are enough for now in the nude category. Mundo Red tho was a wow for me if you don’t have as bright of a red elsewhere :) the two colors you picked besides Dune Kiss make sense in that they are easier to wear on the daily vs a pop like Mundo Red, i just think the color is so stunning on you that it’s still my second choice to Dune Kiss hehe. also: not you hyping up cool tones now that i finally have Remembrance 😂. that Surratt eyeshadow shade looks gorgeous on you and seeing the Chanel primer applied with the kabuki brush really demonstrated how lovely it is. i need to use my kabuki brush but it’s the jumbo one - i have a feeling yours is the more practical size ;)

Your comments are always amazing! And it’s funny as I have pretty much the exact same thoughts about these shades. Epic Brunette is such a cool name hey? Peach Cabaret is also another amazing shade name. I agree that Dune Kiss is so chic. I can’t stop thinking about it or using the sample of it. It seems like the perfect “badass yet corporate yet versatile” shade to me. It really does sit between Milky Light and Peach Cabaret so is the ultimate tease. And Sisley’s Chocolat liner really was the MVP in the lipstick try on! I also prefer the satin look of 001 Rouge Louboutin. I noticed it also comes in the Sooo Glow formula, so I wonder how it would look in that as well. The satin form of the shade reminds me of DVN’s “Uniform Red.” Love that we share very similar thoughts, even about the mirror 😂💕 Oh, and the Sooo Glow formula does not bleed! It’s really very impressive. Haha don’t worry, I still do adore Remembrance and it’s still probably my favourite eyeshadow palette I own. 😉 I wonder how long I’ll live in my cool toned era before I go back to my usual warmer tones, haha. 💕
