Being a Marine my service dress coat seems seemingly familiar to the design. Now I know what field jacket I would want. This color is not a favorite, but a tad darker and drab would be awesome. How much would this field jacket that your presenting in middle weight royal blue?

I really like the Charcoal slack jacket. I've been looking for a jacket like that. Simple and elegant, casual but mature. Very versatile piece that I can wear out to dinner or to the bar. I like the slanted pockets. perfect for putting your hands in. Your shoulders look great.

I can't say that I altogether approve. If you want to be casual, then dress casually. You don't need to take a suit type jacket and transform it into a sack. There is a grating dissimilitude when wearing one of these sack jackets with a tie and dress slacks.

I disagree. Men have been wearing casual jackets for over a century. Certainly for the entire era of modern menswear. A simple, unstructured jacket adds a touch of structure, covers the shoulders, and really adds a touch of class. I don’t always wear casual jackets over my casual shirts on the weekend, but I certainly feel better when I do. That said, I’m not suggesting gardening in these...

That field Jacket is awesome. However having two grown men describe a $3000 jacket as something to lounge around the house in is disturbing to say the least.

How is that disturbing? Of course the buyers of these already have many bespoke suit and overcoat for bussiness and formal events. They have some extra cash and like to stay looking classic in causal events too.
