CarlyCChapman very true, however I feel like they are priced the same as any plus sized store. I have a Lane Bryant near me and I feel like they are priced similar. It’s also really good quality. I would much rather spend a little more to have clothes that fit me the way they are suppose to.

I love this so much. Lately I’ve been trying to do this, if something looks like it would be comfortable for me and my body then I’ll try it on and try to avoid looking at the tags at all. I was getting so frustrated with how I can be a small at some stores and a large at others - sizing is just irrelevant, especially for young women. Thanks for spreading so much positivity. 🥺💞
@brendaleelydon-carpenter15544 жыл бұрын
The way I see it, the size on the tag is a guideline, just so I hopefully don't have to try on EVERY size in the store. 😉 I'm often an XL, so I'll grab the large & the 0/1X is possible when I go to try something on. But just like Sierra shows in the video, sometimes the best fitting item is a medium (heck, I even have some shirts in a small, and I'm VERY large-chested!), sometimes it's a 2XL. I try not to worry about the numbers, and look forward to the day my sewing skills are badass enough for me to make my own underwear/pants/trousers! Those are the articles of clothing I have the most fit issues with. My underwear alone feels like I need a 6 or 7 in the front, and an 8 or 9 in the back! 😄 It's sad when ya gotten alter PANTIES to fit you properly! 😆 But pants that fit the hips are too big in the waist, the waistband often ends up just under my breasts and the legs are STILL too long...petite sizing fixes the waist-under-boobs issue, but then the legs are usually too short...ugh. I should just wear skirts 24/7, heehee!
@ValeriePerkins4 жыл бұрын
This came out on a PERFECT DAY. I went to Zara, I went around picked things up, I'm usually a medium to a large there, extra large if I want an oversized/baggy fit sometimes. Today, not only when I was in the change room noticed that I tried on a pant (looked like a skirt though lol) that was a size small and it fit me PERFECTLY then I tried on a pair of high waisted leather leggings and they didn't go over my thighs and they were a size LARGE. So this is another example to just FOCUS ON FIT!!

Gonna be honest, I haven't been keeping up on your videos (or any) lately because of life. But I saw this pop up and put it on for background noise and ended up watching the entire thing. I just love you so much and your videos make me so happy.

Truly, that's why you should shop local and small. I work in a boutique and am always able to help since I know how the clothes fit different body types. Sizes don't really say anything, they're just a guide. 💛🧡💙

Love this concept! It can be so hard to get past the number on the tag but flattering, comfortable clothes win no matter what that tag says.

The audio is off. It it's a little muffled
@isthisnametaken66184 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Sierra said there was an audio glitch. It was definitely muffled in the intro, but I thought it got better towards the actual try-on portion of the video.

I call it waffle material too. I absolutely love that fabric. Also, I agree that it looked like an American Eagle sweater
