Hi Erin! After watching your videos, In January I decided i’d like to share my creations in my local farmers market this summer. It’s going so well so far! I even got invited to a 200+ vendor event in the large city of Milwaukee WI. Your channel has really inspired me to take my hobby to the next level! I’ve been crocheting non stop lately and your videos are always playing in the background! I hope to have a crochet community like yours one day :)

I’ve been thinking about burning or gluing cause I’m overrr it 😂
@LaceJellyfish Жыл бұрын
@@itserinboh gosh don’t burn them 😂 fabritac dries fast, has enough give to make it last longer on moving garments but enough structure to keep everything in place ✨ it dries clear too (but you have to wait 24 hours to get it wet if you need to wash something). I haven’t personally used it on acrylic yarn yet but it has worked with many other synthetics I’ve used 💖✨ I wouldn’t recommend the fabric glue with the brown/burgundy label (is weakkk) or fray check (gets hard and uncomfortable), and the blue and white label “stretchy fabric glue” is great for fabrics but because it stays “tacky” (not sticky) I’m uncomfortable with the thought of adding it to a crochet piece because of the tacky set 😅 (even if you powder set it when dry). (I’ve just seen the intro so maybe you addressed this, apologies in advance 💛)

15:40 you can crochet in your ends as you go (with the beige colour in this case). i never weave in ends, i crochet them in. saves you a lot of hustle :)

I notice that my crochet projects do the fishtail thing your talking about but when I flip to the other side it's usually neater and more stacked

I like the fishtail look tho! Makes it look more intricate than it is 🥰

Things I made this month: - Jacobs ladder stitch sweater in a striped pattern of brown, orange, tan, cream, and a deep turqoise ( I love this stitch, please look into it, it turns out so pretty in the end, especially when mixing solid color yarns) - mini pink waist coat/ vest (didn't turn out as I had invisioned but still cute) - a multicolor mini cross body purse for a friend - Current wip is my first little bolero in a mohair sort of yarn that is like muted pinks, white and purples :) I haven't posted pictures of these yet, because it's been 90 degrees plus where I live, but I will tag you when I do!

So ironic to have a mohair yarn named Buddha. One of the main teachings of Buddhism is to not cause suffering, while mohair is known for being one of the crueler kinds of yarn to harvest.
