for crochet bags, I always line them with fabric on the inside! it prevents the crochet from stretching and things from falling through holes

Heyy, what yarn do you use for the bag? I started a tote bag w/ acrylic yarn but i feel like it's gonna be wayyy too stretchy even if i line it so i just frogged it😅

@@ellen8161 I have used cotton for bags which has worked well (but that is also my preferred yarn material), if you want a stiffer bag you can also go down one or two hook sizes

@@ellen8161 I lined for good measure (& I also happened to have fabric lying around) but they would probably be okay without it too! Mind I've only made bags that are on the smaller side (around purse size), for a tote bag I would always line, but that is also because I tend to carry heavier things in those, which will stretch them out much more

i use my crochet bags a lot and i haven't had any issues with them breaking or anything!! just as long as the yarn isn't super delicate (like mohair or something, but idk who would make a bag from that). i love them for thrifting or beach bags. really anything for holding clothes. also great to bring when you're buying more yarn

you should look onto blocking knitted or crocheted pieces. it keeps them from stretching. Also you can hand sew a fabric on the inside of the bags so they can be more sturdy :)

you could try making a lining for the bags so that way if you put stuff inside, the bag won't stretch that much

Add lining to your bags! I sew in some old fabric to just the bottom on the inside so nothing pokes thru or falls out!

Hi Girl, I really like this video and the stuff you made. But I have just a small adjustment advice for your video editing. I feel like you cut the the parts a little to short so that sometimes you cut off the start or end of the words or even just the breathe sound, which makes it a little hard to listen at some points. I dont know if you cared, I just wanted to tell you this, so that you dont lose views over something like that. Have a good day ☺
