Transitions do not darken behind a windshield so the best bet is to have a dedicated pair of sunglasses for that. But there is a new version of transitions that work in a car.

I've had my Rayban stories now for 6 months. I'm so glad I chose the wayfarer matte black with dark grey lens - I don't need the transition lens 👍 I wear these like my regular driving sunglasses, I just look way cooler now and I have the option to impress people with spy tech when I go out in the day, or have them on me indoors. Still enjoying them although I don't take nearly as many photos and videos with them as I did in the beginning. The coolness feeling is still strong tho 😎

Thanks for this great review, Oscar. Does the green G-15 tint render a blue sky with a greenish hue? I have amber/brown lenses that make a blue sky look hazy, while my gray lenses accentuate the blue.

@@OZZ___ Not sure. I bought through a nearby RayBan store. My prescription is pretty strong so I wasn’t able to get RayBan lenses and they sourced my lenses from a lens different supplier. Im in So Cal and it seems like they get darkest on cooler days but I think that’s just the norm?

I like Ray-Ban for a couple reasons: 1.they invented the aviator for military use and was then released to the public in 1937, so they are the og's in the sunglasses game. 2. They invented the three most popular and copied styles, the aviator, the wayfarer, and the clubmaster. 3. They look bad ass 4. The Ray-Ban logo is very attractive.

@@kyles5513 I have a pair of rayban aviators 3025 and I love them. But.. they are owned by a monopoly. Before rayban was bought by luxxotica they were cheap sunglasses. Now they are a luxury.

@@Diadactyl when you look at it that way, but I don't care about the corporate side of it. I'm obviously not a fan of how expensive they are but you get what you pay for because they are built pretty tough. One pair of aviators lasted me the same amount of time 6 or 7 pairs of cheap aviators did and they all took the same amount of beating cause I wear them at work too. (Framing carpentry) so I stand by them.

Great eye! That's what I thought so at first too but it's actually because the top of the frame was covering the top of the lens therefore it wouldn't darken. When I aim the glasses completely upwards towards the sun then the gap isn't there anymore.
