Technically Panda Express is "real Asian food" as its founders are born and bred Asian (one's from China, the other Burma) lol There's a fascinating video on it called "Why American Chinese Food Deserves Respect" I recommend.

The best 2 things I like about your food reviews, although at extreme ends, are: 1) it makes me wanna try most of the foods you share 2) thank you for going through that bad experience so we won't have to waste our money on it

No way they just charge $11 for boiling 10 dumplings from a production line packet you can buy for $5, and it would contain around 20-30 of those things. Only saving grace from Panda Inn is probably the chili oil.

lmaooo in Brooklyns chinatown you could get a bag of handwrapped 50 dumplings for 5 dollars, and they're far from "mini" as well, those prices are insane.

I live next to a panda inn and they're one of my favorites, still have not found a better chili oil then theirs. Never got any of the dishes you got but that chicken dish looked great. I'd recommend the sweet and pungent shrimp and fish in black bean sauce if you ever go back.

There's a sit down Panda Inn restaurant near my house too and I have to admit, it's the best orange chicken I've ever had in my life. It's so much better than the Express version.

Teriyaki chicken with noodles with extra sauce on the chicken and noodles, that is about the best thing there.

I love authentic Chinese food, but I also have a soft spot for Panda Express orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and Kung Pao. My Non-Asian friends actually are more snooty about PE than I am. When I told them PE is actually better than their go to Chinese takeout place, they were super offended. Lol! FYI, the spring rolls are far better than egg rolls.

Good luck man, I'm currently working drive thru and front of house but might split and do cooking too. Idk if they'd let me actually cook the food, probably just making sauces in the back and cooking fried rice and chow mein. The only thing I do know how to cook is the honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken lol, the manager taught me, shes nice

I live in Humboldt County, California; it’s at the very tippy top of California and we are definitely not used to celebrities. Anytime a celebrity visits we are super excited! Now in Southern California those folks are DEFINITELY used to seeing celebs

My favorite panda express entree is the black pepper chicken, which they no longer serve. Now I always get the honey walnut shrimp and Beijing beef. Third entree is usually mushroom chicken. Lately I do half noodles and half greens. I tried the almond chicken was not impressed. Usually the 3 entree meal is enough for me to get two meals. So, what is everyone's favorite dish at panda express.

While Chinese fast food like Panda Express and so many others may not be traditional Chinese food from China. The food is authentic American Chinese that was made by Chinese immigrants. I used smugly say that places like Panda Express wasn't Chinese food until I did a deep dive on the history of the food and the people who made it/founded those restaurants. Like I said before while it may not be traditional Chinese food from China, The food is Authentic American Chinese.

My usual Panda Xpress dinner is a two-plate, with teriyaki chicken, and their 'super veggies' or half-and-half veggies and yakisoba which is not even remotely Chinese, but is good. Also that place has SO MANY things you cannot get at their normal stores.
