On JoyFay's site they say to get a shoe size bigger than what you normally wear in these and then wear thick socks with them. What has been your experience? I saw several people say that their ankles hurt or were bruised in online reviews. Thinking they didn't wear the thick socks. Let me know your advice on size and thick socks. My regular shoe size would be large in these. One size up would be XL.

Very true. The one style shoe for EVERYONE is ridiculous. In my case standing and walking on Non skid, deck plates and going up and down ladders SUCK!
