Trying out my new Tsurinoya Genius Reel and Shimano Majestic BFS Rod from Bait Finesse Empire!

Solid BFS session. How do you like those reels? I had the Genius in my cart at BFE but ended up backing out last minute and getting more baits instead.

I like it so far. I have it spooled with 6 lb test fluro and I can chuck a small crankbait a mile. For a budget reel per say, I'm happy with it, actually all my bfs reels are tsurinoya and been happy with all of them so far 👍

I just bought the Genius yesterday and was looking to pair it with a Tsurinoya Rod but they've been out of stock for a while... the Majestic is on sale for $20 off right now and might pull the trigger--4 months later, how do you like the setup?

I like the set up so far. I like the Majestic for my jigs and ned rigs. I like the backbone on the rod

What type of line and reel ?

The reel is tsurinoya spirit fox i believe and that day I was using was 8 lb braid to 6 lb fluro leader. I have since changed the line on that set up and went with straight 8 lb fluro
