@@danhartstudio Merci beaucoup. Je suis arrivée sur le site directement en francais et en euros. C'est très interessant et le prix des sets semble modéré. Je vais sûrement les tester plus tard ! Pour le moment je termine des travaux aux pastels extra-soft de Schminke et crayons Caran d'Ache. Mais si j'achète des Kawachi je viendrai vous dire mon avis. Merci beaucoup 🙂

Yes, pastels are so wonderful! That's why they are one of my favorite materials!

The stick seem so unmanageable . But you don’t seem to be having much trouble. What happens when you lose those edges? What paper are you using? I see paper is Clairefontaine. Is it smooth, it has to have some tooth? It also seem you must blend with your fingers all the time. Not sure what I am watching . Your certainly adept and experienced. I would like to see what you do when the sticks are worn? And rounded.

Rectangular pastels can be quite useful when covering large areas or for specific applications. Clairefontaine paper has a relatively smooth surface. I particularly enjoy using my fingers to blend colors. I'm planning to create a video about various oil pastel techniques, so please refer to it later. Thank you so much!
