Yep, they are called "stone" baked. Not "teflon" baked. Lol. You also need to use a little flour so that it slides off and onto the stone, the flour will stop it sticking to the stone.

I love it cause it's an honest review involving beginner mistakes we ALL go trough. I'm not sure why are all the "i know how to do it better" comments necessary. I'm searching for something like this and i guess this oven has multiple names in different countries (it's ventura ibrido here) or just companies rebranding the same product. I like that it's a multifuel oven with all the needed accessories included. I was sceptical of it reaching the desired temp, but you demonstrated it does reach it pretty quick. Thanks and enjoy all the pizzas - i bet you mastered the dought and the semolina&pizza peel launch by now.

Great video, we've all been there.. My first few pizzas ended up as calzones beacuse they fell apart so much :) The door on yours goes in under the lip at the top first, then push the bottom in. Thats why your door kept faling off..

Hi Carl, thanks for the comment. Overall I like it. It’s took a couple of goes to get the hang of it, especially figuring out how to stop the pizza dough sticking to the pizza peel (the big spatula). As you probably saw in the video the first attempt it was a bit of a disaster! Semolina seems to be the way forward. 👍🏻

It’s been ok so far. But to be fair only used it about half a dozen times over the summer. It’s a decent little oven (now I’ve got the hang of it!!) 😀

Thanks for the video. We unwrapped ours today, same make different brand name. Ours was listed as a wood pellet pizza oven. We’ll see how the pellets go. I know from other videos that you cook directly on the stone. Use corn flower on the pizza peel to make the crust slide off of the peel.

That's how I do it ideally you can get your dough not to stick so you can go peel to stone but I'm not there yet

Everyone seems to be saying to use semolina but in my experience, corn meal works great. It's what our local places always use and it's like having little wheels on the bottom of the pizza. Also, don't go out to the edge with the sauce and toppings and the stone will stay cleaner. Cleaning the stone is easy, just fire it up and let it run empty. Then just brush the ashes off. Also, try wood pellets instead of the whole pieces of wood. They get hotter.

For future reference to this guy next time use cornmeal on the bottom of your dough or use oil if you got a pizza stone, preferably cornmeal and it won’t stick and you put it directly on the stone

I have this Pizza oven too. It's such an effort to maintain the temperature above 300 degrees and it uses a ton of wood to get there. Given up with it! More effort than reward.

Spicy Chorizo or normal chorizo mixes very well in a pizza or pasta with onion (the more caramelized, the better) and capers. Tells you a spaniard.

I have this and was so frustrated. I could not get the temp past 400. Also, the flame inside kept dying out. So no flame over the pizza. I used wood chips and lump charcoal. Kept filling it up to capacity and it just wouldn’t get hot. I enjoyed your video though.

Hi. Thanks for the comment. 👍🏻 Ive had the same problem with temperature. This video was the first occasion I used the oven and I got good temperature but subsequently I struggled to get over 300c. I contacted Alfresco Chef and they suggested making sure that the oven back was facing into the wind so that it was getting plenty of air. I’ve had good temps since but it does seem dependent on the amount of wind.

Try pre rolling them, and parchment between them, semolina on to paddle, build as you need them or get additional paddles 😉

don't roll dough. use your fingers and push the air bubble to the outside diameter. rolling gives you very dense pizza crust.

Flour a sheet of baking paper / foil lay fresh pizza on top. Use pizza paddle to lift from paper and slide onto stone. Flour will stop pizza from sticking. Enjoy! Made me hungry. Off to feed my lot with new table top pizza oven. Not as snazzy as yours but hopefully a meal to enjoy this sunny day. ☀️

Lol so funny Paul , I know how hard it is trying to get the dough onto the pizza stone they make it look so easy don’t they mate. One tip is if you have semolina on the underside of the dough it tends to slide much easier but really think it’s practice makes perfect 😉👍. Phil.

Hopefully you've got the hang of it by now, but I think your dough was too wet due to a. not proving enough and b. putting the toppings on too early and further hydrating the base. If you struggle with making your own dough then both Pizza Express and The Northern Pizza Dough company make excellent ready made frozen dough

Put some semolina on the pizza peel,stretch the dough and put it on...then put the toppings..shake the peel to make sure the dough isnt stuck..then stick it in the oven and you are good to go sir!

When rolling the dow put semolina on the bottom of the pizza and on the the pizza spatula thing and on the stone too it should slide out easy then, using the pizza trays at the beginning is a good idiea for pizzas to harden up and to avoid any breaks

Flour the dough really well, and add flour to the pizza peel. Assemble the pizza on the pizza peel itself very quickly. Then slide onto the stone. Hope this helps!
