Hi Jose hope all is well First thing I noticed was the factory stud ring that holds the rotor that itself will trow your balance off removing those will eliminate vibration to nothing at all or barely noticeable. God bless

I have these , they came with my VELGEN wheels for my 2015 Roush stage 3 mustang when I ordered my wheels.

Thanks for the video! Unfortunately, I had to order some custom hub ring spacers (104->78). Wish that mine were a common size so I could've saved money, but I hope to have as good a results as you.

Did it work for you?
@clatonblade22112 жыл бұрын
its really just an alignment tool to help you get the wheel centered, its possible to get lucky and they go on prefect without the rings. probably why when you swap the wheels around you think it gets better or worse.
@josesupra2 жыл бұрын
Yea for sure it is but to get it spot on with luck vs just slapping these rings on why not? Lol m
@clatonblade22112 жыл бұрын
@@josesupra thats why i use them, they are really not expensive. just remember to tell a shop if you have them do work because sometimes they stick to the wheel get lost or forgotten...

Did you end up reverse leveling your truck? If so what coils did you go with
@josesupra2 жыл бұрын
I did. I used coil springs specialties. Make sure you talk to them about the soft ride option. It seemed like my truck rode a little stiffer with them setup with the factory spring rate.
@texasgunnerfree41272 жыл бұрын
@@josesupra thanks man I am really considering doing that to my 2016.

It’s so much easier in my opinion to use the bed and truck with it reverse leveled. Like sure it’s only a few inches but it really does make life a little easier. My buddies with lifted trucks are all tired of dealing with it when it comes to getting stuff in and out of the bed. Or even in and out of the inside of the truck.

Remove those brake rotor clips from the assembly line also. Some aftermarket wheels do not allow room for that clip

A bit of misinformation there at the end. The hub carries the load only by friction from wheel back to hub face. Remaining weight is carried on lugs. The only thing a hub ring does is help ensure it is centered when wheel is installed. No need for aluminum hub rings. Plastic is actually better. Hydrolysis can cause aluminum rings fuse to steel. Proof no weight is placed on factory wheel at hub end is once lugs are properly tightened you can typically fit a feeler guage in there all the way around. (Thin shim .0015”) Meaning its not touching. Your main problem is how you install your lug nuts. Put all lug nuts on first hand tight, tighten in opposing pattern 1/4 turn at a time until snug, then torque with torque wrench to spec. I have owned multiple cars and truck with many different wheel and tire combos. Amazon or ebay lug nuts. Never used a hub ring. Only time I had any shake was when I had a tire repaired and a gas station shop put the wheel on.

" Hydrolysis can cause aluminum rings fuse to steel." Absolutely ,I live in the south where they don't salt the roads and have still had to sledge hammer the tire sidewall to get wheels off.

Nitto 420s but they don’t make those anymore from my understanding. They have the nitto 420v how. I like the 420s better myself.
