For the last 3 years my favorite tool for Producing Music is the Boss RC-505 Loop Station. FIVE loopers that are sync'd and one touch, and there's a 2nd or 3rd or 5th part that can be listened to, Dry or with numerous effects, mixed with faders, and gotten rid of by holding one button for 2 seconds. Each idea can be tried out, added to, instruments changed, perfected, or deleted in minutes. I've made 8 Albums since I got it in Sept. 2019. If I'm happy with everything in the Loop Station, I can Mix, Pan, EQ, adjust effects and record the finished Stereo (= 10 tracks, 5 L+R) into the Multi track Recorder and add whatever. It has definitely simplified Arranging. If I add a Guitar and decide I'd rather have that part on Organ, hold down one button for 2 seconds and play the Organ. I have told every recording Musician I know, and every Songwriter I know to check it out. For Writing, WOW! A simple Chord Progression idea is down in one take, and since it was so fast, if I decide it should go a different way, it's not like getting rid of a lot of work, hold down the button and do it again. This Eventide H90 is DEFINITELY something I would like to add to my Toolbox!

Great video! Maybe an odd question here, but back in 2010 I purchased N Eventide Time Factor and an Eventide Mod Factor then I literally barely ever used them sadly. I’m looking to sell them both, would this new Eventide be worth picking up since I’m upgrading my gear finally? It seems like this Eventide has more to do with the mod factor than time factor. I was looking to basically get rid of all my current pedals and go with a Quad Cortex, possibly a Hologram Microcosm, and this new Eventide. Would that be unnecessary due to sort of overlapping effects maybe? Thanks for the video.

Ok i have a question I have 2 h9’s connected to my gigrig g2 One is in loop 7 the other in loop 10 (Wet dry two amps) Can i use this new h90 and rout the connections to two different loops on my gigrig? Ultimately replacing my two H9’s with one H90?? Also will Midi allow me to pick two algo’s per preset? Thanks I really enjoyed this video
@EventideAudio2 жыл бұрын
Yes, using dual routing this would allow you to send one loop to Preset A and another loop to Preset B. Sending a PC to the H90 will load a new Program, which will load two new Algorithm Presets.

@MOAB-UT Жыл бұрын
I wanted to like it and I have the money (bought a Fractal FM9 for $1845) but still, the value is not there IMHO for "two" count them effects (at a time.) FM9 has 280 excellent effects as well as AMP sims that you don't get with this thing. You can also run dozens at a time but that is silly. Most of us need ~5 quality effects at any given time to enhance (not replace) our playing. Often less is more- if you have talent. Otherwise, you need to rely on tech to cover up bad playing. Optionally, you can grab 3-4+ quality effects pedals that will likely sound better and you can run them all at the same time! Some of those pedals will run two effects at a time e.g., Strymon blueSKY. This expensive TOOL is likely great if you are a production engineer creating a CD or highly produced music. You get access to many high quality effects and tones but for the average Joe (most of us), that's a NO.
