The cruise control feature is excellent.I watched literally 100 of these videos on the Jets in build pro and what everybody should do is tell people what your waiters and what your height is etc. Then people will know what the bike is handling how fast it’s going with what weight etc. etc. Thank you thank you

Hey Ryan, appreciate the feedback! I agree with you that rider weight is a factor with pretty much any electric vehicle. I am around a 200 lb rider and I was not hitting the top speeds of the bike. I also did try the cruise control after the video as well. Thanks for watching, ride on!

Don’t bother pedalling hard. When pedalling the Jetson do it at an easy moderate rate. Pedalling hard achieves nothing. The Jetson works best once you learn to use mostly throttle and to sometimes pedal. Pedal along with throttle to get it going from a standing start. Also pedal while using throttle when going up hills. Also to achieve max speed (14 mph) use full throttle and moderate pedaling. The ride is definitely stiff and bumpy with the Jetson. To improve the ride (ie. smooth out the bumps) put 28 lbs pressure in the front tire and 30 lbs in the back. I also added a suspension seat post.

I own a Jetson Bolt Pro and a Lectric XP 2.0. The Lectric is definitely the better bike for serious riding. But I really like the Jetson because It is small, more convenient and inconspicuous. You can take it anywhere. Ride on sidewalks, paths with people, take it on the elevator, and even public transit (ie. subways) without anyone bothering you. Plus it cost me $349 CAD (ie. 275.00 USD) at Costco Canada.

Try using the cruise control. The button on your right hand side under the battery charge lights when you’ve got it cranked and you got the speed you want push the button and let go and it’ll lock onto that speed until you hit the brakes or crank the throttle again. The cruise control feature is excellent

Pedaling without the throttle is what allowed me to go faster than before. You might want to start without the throttle when using pedal assist. I experienced the “ghost pedaling” you mentioned under those conditions. When I start without the throttle and pedal, it’s a whole new world. Maybe that’s coincidental but it helped me decide to keep ours. Enjoy FL. It’s cold af in North FL, right now. I’m glad Valrico is apparently warmer. Then again, coming from 20 degree weather, you may judge these things differently than we do. 😆

Welcome to Central Florida! My neck of the woods - here in Orlando, not far away from where you're staying - some good weather this time of year for riding. And that Jetson Bolt is a fun little ride. Probably better used for urban commuting to work, like in NYC or SF.

I guess it’s ok to blame the bike design for the bump issue but there’s a nice flat road next to you. Also, I’d recommend a different seat. The seat I got with padding and suspension made a HUGE comfort difference. Btw, it’s $329 or so at Costco.

Believe it or not, half the ebikes I see in So Fla are these Bolt cheap bikes and no one seems to use the pedals, I guess they don't get much range out of them.

Hey Peter! Are they like rental ebikes? Or personal owned? I can see the price is really the best thing about them, but they are not getting the true ebike feel and using them more or less like escooters.

Not sure which versions people had but the non-Pro version has foot rests but no pedals. If they’re using the Pro and not pedaling, I’d imagine that they’re either very happy with the range or uninterested in the exertion.

Loved this bike butttttt then the back wheel locked up don’t know what happened Brake or hub locked up I couldn’t override with the pedals had to drag home 349 at Costco They took it right back full refund👍

Yea it not a 1000 dollars put cheaper for me u can get it in Costco if it in stock maybe on the spring time it like 340 dollars and I have that and the mountain ebike

I thought I was going to return mine because of how slow they were but it took a minute to get a good idea of how it functions. Embarrassingly, I think I was somehow leaving it on and it was not as charged when I returned to it…and possibly going slower as a result. At this point, I’m loving it.

You don't know how to use the bike properly dude i saw how you handle the throttle, you can increase more speed if you use throttle the proper way.
