I have 4 of these Bolt Pro's for family and friends to use when they come for visits...they ended up being quite a hit with everyone. They love driving them down to trails around our area. About a five mile round trip. Seems like the first thing everyone wants to do is jump on these little bikes and go puttering around.

Wow, and I thought I had a lot of accessories for my Jetson 😂. I like your enthusiasm, these bikes are quite entertaining. I’ve done many of the modifications that you have done, such as the extra battery and switch-That’s a must. I’ve tried to do things in such a way that I can easily break it down and still fit into my car trunk/boot for little excursions that I might explore. The extended battery range totally transforms the riding experience...no more range anxiety and you can use throttle more if tired. Bringing the Jetson in the trunk when you have to bring your car into service is a gamechanger. You can bike elsewhere instead of waiting around! Keep riding and keep safe my fellow Jetson friend!

I like your enthusiasm but I hope you are careful with all those lights if you are in the road. Seems like you could inadvertently blind drivers, especially with your helmet lights (since they move with your head you might shine them in someone’s eyes on accident), and your one headlight seems like it would be eye level for someone in a car. My man spent more on the accessories than the bike itself. Most of the stuff is great though. I personally wouldn't bother with the 4K camera, lights on the bottom. I would also go pretty easy on the amount of lights on the front and back. Overall, it looks very nice. Surprising very clean despite how cluttered it is. 👍

The very first modification I made was full sized handle bars. The next one I did was a new crank; 45 teeth 170 mm arms. Next up is flat pedals, save you some stress and heart trauma; install those when you replace the crank. Next up is a 400 mm seatpost. Once these functional modifications are done, THEN it is time for doohickies and frippery.

Wow !!! Lit up like an emergency vehicle. Love it !!!! I've had my Phantomgogo for about 2 weeks and have ordered an additional higher amp battery, the "parallel connector" and some aluminum folding handlebars that are not only lighter but also wider(more accessories". Bigger rotors (stainless steel 160mm), a shock absorbing seatpost, a wider more comfortable saddle, a speedometer and better lights are on my on my wishlist. I'm seriously considering installing a motor hub for the front too. 900 total watts and 25 amp hours of battery. I can hardly wait !!!! I bought the Phantom because of wanting to ride sitting down and the low price. I love it "as is", but it's gonna be even better when I'm done. Have you done any performance upgrades on your Jetson ?? P.S, You really oughta think about some handlebar extensions with all the electronics you have.

Hi, When it comes to the small Axin B-Soul side bags that you keep your wallet and keys in, how do you mount it to where it doesn't move around and also how did you get it in through the frame of the ebike

I had to fold it in half and really squeeze it where the handle hole is on the frame of the Jetson body. It's very very snug trying to pull it through. Then you can slide it to the front the the frame and use the velcro included in the bag. It's so tight, it's not going anywhere.

@@hunterparrett The bag itself has two strips of velcro sewed to the bag so no need to purchase velcro. When really squish the bag by folding it in half in small hole handle, then slide it to front of frame, you'll see that the bag isn't going anywhere. It can't come out of where it is now since the two bags are too fat to have it fall out. You'll see! Welcome to the Jetson club! It's so fun. Best money spent in a long time. Have over 1700KM on mine and it still runs well. I'm glad you got some ideas and I could help in my video. It's great to see others have has much fun customizing! Ride safe!

You must live in a pretty relaxed state. Because most states do not allow red and blue flashing lights no matter what facing to the front of the rear. Around here you would get a huge ticket and The cops would rip the Flashing Red blue lights off the bike.

Christ dude.. you’ve added so much weight to this thing. You’re missing the point of the purpose of a device like this- It’s not a motorcycle, it’s a scooter. You’ve got more stuff mounted on your helmet than I have on the bike. I understand your enthusiasm, these are fun- but they are toys. Adding a 2nd battery is a terrific idea, and a great upgrade for range, but everything else is completely unnecessary in my opinion. One small bag & bottle holder is all you need.

I have one too, and have thought of adding some thinks. However it is such a perfect, tiny, light weight bicycle, that I can easily put in my car back seat and ride long distances. Anything I add would add more size, and make it harder to store and transport... I have become a minimalist with this great bike. The only thing I will add is an additional battery in parallel to ride long distances.

Yeah it's great to bring in trunk especially when bringing car in for service. You can explore instead of waiting at the mechanic. It is definitely not as easy fitting in the trunk with all the extra gadgets. Mostly the rear rack holding the battery adds lenght. I'd like to have a separate bare bones Jetson with larger battery in main compartment.

Great video. I picked up some of the Hafny mirrors you mentioned for my bolt. Do you know if I need to add the expanders or not? Not sure of the dimensions inside the handle bar itself. Also, did you just shave out the inside of the grip to make space? Thank you.

Thank for the kind words! I had to use all the parts what came with the hafny kit including the expanders to keep the mirrors secure and tight. Inside the grip I didn't have to shave anything off but had to use a box cutter to cut a hole on the end of the grips so I could insert the mirrors. Rubber is pretty soft and go slow so you don't cut yourself. Haha. Hope this helps.

Thanks man! Yeah don't use as as many lights due to so many things to charge. Lol. Just the front ones, and rear ones. Then my horn. Charge lasts about 1 month so so charge it up every few rides.

Returned mine at costco and picked up another one after 2 weeks of trying to push my riding limits with it. It got ruined in the process and I now know it's limitations of this bike. All I did was add my childhood license plate with zip ties to the saddle strings lols. I still use my nite rider lights, with my 2-1 phone+portable charger mount from my main bike with this one. At least with this bike being heavy I can ride this during the colder and windy months to come, since I can't ride my road bike in those conditions without feeling the slightest gust of wind shifting my wheels.

My God ? I guess if your traveling one end to the other end of America all that stuff is OK ? Better to have two then not have none at all ? The only thing I would change on my bolt bike will be the satell post and trash the stock rear lite and put my own and add a front lite and some reflective tape one strip in front one on each side and one on back. I can't see in to space with the stock front lite but it works I can see they can see me ! Good enough ! Tools uh maybe a Allen key set four or five size no more needed bike pump small 40 to 50 lbs don't need a air compressor ? And multi tool. No bike bags needed to make my bike heavier than it is so my bags stay on my back or my waste. No computer needed I have my government traking device aka my cell phone is don't need to know how fast I'm going because when I hit someone and they fall I know I was going fast. Or they are def ?

Yeah. Totally understood to keep things simple and avoid excess weight. I've gone a bit too far with mods (too much free time during Covid) but I do take the Jetson on longer trips (35-45km) and at night where it's pitch black. Some lots are overkill while others actually serve a purpose.

Totally understand on the lites I've gone on midnight bike rides till 2 or 3am we did the whole Christmas lites to our bikes then we just use a bike lite and flashlight.

@@grimispotato245 on stock battery I get 15km of throttle only or 25-30km of pedal assist. On my 2nd battery I get additional 30km of throttle only or 60km of pedal assist. So overall i got tons of of range with both. Longest I've gone is 45km. Your body gives out before the bike will. Have over 1700km and it's been awesome. Taken it places above and beyond its usage. Totally worth the price I paid and it's a gateway drug to ebiking.

Definitely consider getting handle bar extender from voromotor you have too much going on at the handbar and maybe get 17-35L Bike Rack Bag from engwe-bikes to reduce all those clutters at the rear rack.

I never leave my bike alone since we have very high bike thefts in Vancouver. The Kryptonite brand of chains and U locks are highly rated. Just a bit heavy.

No lock is safe thieves come with hand powered circular saws will cut through anything. Have to have visual or GPS or alarm.

You're welcome! It is possible but you have to make sure both batteries are charged to same voltage before you connect them together since they will equalize instantly. Then it will act as one battery and I'm not sure which battery you plugin to charge. I'm not crazy on parrallel setup myself. A switch isn't preferred, you can do the cable swap method where you extend cables outside the casing and when want to switch, just plug and unplug batteries. Basically the cable swap is just a prerequisite for the switch method which takes it one step further. Shiva shows how to here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5zVaKhmYpKcfas PS. I'll probably see you around the Vancouver bike lanes. It's great to ride them for the first time. Highly recommend the False Creek Seawall to Granville Island, Stanley Park seawall, Arbutus Greenway, Central Valley Greenway, and BC Parkway. I'm near Central Park and the stock battery can take me to Granville Island and back. (24km trip pedal assist)

You're very welcome! I just bring my bike into the store! I usually am just picking up bubble tea so they don't say anything since I'm quick and bike is small. In Vancouver any bike will get stolen in minutes so it never leaves my side. You could use a strong New York Kryptonite Ulock through the handle.
