I really hope they add this as an option to the vanilla game, I would absolutely love to run an express train with the f7, have it run from Andrews to Sylva Via Whittier and Bryson City.

This game is less than three months old and some glorious bastard actually modded a whole F7 into the game. Can’t wait to see steam locomotives but I imagine those will be much harder with all the animations and moving parts.

Funny how I’m just now realizing this route is based off the Southern Railway Murphy Branch, specifically what’s now part of the GSMR in my home state, small world huh.

If i knew how to code, E units for pax, GP30M's on freight. And maybe 1 RS1.

If they do a locomotive roster update, I'd love some Gen 1 diesels. GE 44, 45, and 70 tonners. Also RS and FA series locomotives. F Units, early switchers, and BL2's from EMD. maybe even some Fairbanks Morse stuff.

Your GP30M is too new but the E units and the RS1 is a good idea. Perhaps an RS2 also?

Big problem is that everything can change in beta and adding this loco could mess my game up with the next patch.

Just back up your game before modding and verify game files if something goes wrong, not that hard to prevent that from happening

All the locos and cars are their own files, so even if you do have a problem, you can easily remove the mod. It doesn’t change files, it adds files.
