Trying out Thrive! - Evolution Simulation Game (when tipsy)

I spontaneously tried out this amazing indie evolution simulation game in development. Despite being somewhat tipsy and ill-prepared, I did get pretty far and had a lot of fun already. Definitely gonna try the game again with a clearer head, because I was impressed with what I've seen so far. I will hopefully also do a better job then. Kudos to the game developers, who made a highly playable and scientifically accurate game!

Just some tips: It is not recommended to evolve the *oxytoxin* in your cell, because usually after you put it in, many species that will come from you will become a lot of annoying snipers of toxins that can *kill you* .(but you can try this, just makes a bit more hard) And also be careful when changing patches because you start with less glucose there, especially when evolving a nucleus, too, so put many organelles for ATP for the nucleus, and don't try another patch when evolving it. Just my two cents

​@@animationspace8550 Yeah good point! Though a natural mutation of toxin is much more rare than if you evolve it. And about the predation you can use the predatory pilus tô stab cells and turn them into comsumable clouds/organelles

Those purple Xs are toxins, you can produce them with Oxitoxisome or Toxin Vacuole, and press E (I think to shoot them) You can also engulf the microbes smaller than you pressing G to toggle Engulfing Mode and running into them. You can change your membrane type in the MEMBRANE tab in Cell Editor, you can also change its color there. The Nucleus is big and consume a lot of energy.

Species: ALRE is the best sandbox you can get! It's not so much a game like this tho Its more like a fish tank, the size of a city, that you watch over generations

in the cell editor at the top left, above the organelles window, there is options for membrane, and behavior which you didn't look at
