I bought all my Rosa watercolors on Amazon. Even got some on sale before Christmas.

Their magenta is my absolute favorite magenta, hands down.

Girl!! Beautiful painting!!! Rosa Gallery is awesome, they're my fun pallets that are no pressure and not too precious. You'll have to try a piece where you can see how they move. Some colors move just as good as QOR you'll see when you do the swatch card... I haven't found any other paint brand that does that as well as Rosa Gallery. As far as brushes, I found my favorite brushes are Escoda. They come from Spain and are not easy to find or cheap. The Perla line is, in my opinion, the best snappy-ish brush for water/pigment retention. I was shocked at how thirsty they are for the snappiness, they pick up puddles like a straw. Funny cause I'm not sure that's what they're known for, just my observation. Also, the "Prado" line. It's my "lovely" paint brush. LOL. I love the point and the feel. I think it best to visit their website to see what they offer, VERY comprehensive, then look on Amazon, Blick or Jackson's for the one you want to try. Hands down, my favorite set is the Escoda Blue Travel Set. It has a Smaller Prado, medium Perla and a large Ultimo. The synthetic squirrel brush, the "Ultimo", is a trip, getting that big thing back in the cap is a real feat...haha. It takes some finesse. Shape the tip after cleaning and as you slowly push it back in, turn it so no hairs get caught going in the wrong direction. "Treat yo self" to the blue travel set. I got mine on Amazon. 😜👌🏼 UPDATE: woah, I just looked on Amazon and that blue travel set got really expensive... I guess must be out of production/supply and demand 😬

I got all my Rosa and Yarka on Ebay or ETSY. I love them both! I was gonna get on you for not having your sling (I am a disabled nurse, can't help myself!) then I remembered you pre recorded😂😅

Beautiful painting! I have heard about Rosa Gallery, but I haven't tried them yet. Sounded like a great choice for watercolor painting... Thank you for sharing! Hope you are doing good,

A nice painting - thanks for sharing the slow layering process with us all - and also for showcasing the Rosa watercolours, they seem to work very well. I've never tried hot press paper but I can see from your explanation why (particularly) botanical painters will often prefer it to cold press. Hope these difficult few months of the start of your recovery process are going as smoothly as possible for you and you'll be able to get back to regular painting - I saw from your Instagram post that you're getting into digital art while you're kinda immobilised - so glad that you're still able to find workable creative outlets for your talent. All the best, Brian.

I have some of these and I a so lively love them. Thanks for this, I loved the colors you picked. I like stiffer brushes as well, I really dislike the soft ones and got rid of them.

Hullo Amy I am using the Princeton Brushes these days The Aqua Elite and Velvet Touch or Heritage brushes. The Mimik line from Jerry's Artarama are very nice squirrel and Kolinsky synthetic brushes. The ROSA sellers are very good at making you a custom palette with the colors you want. I got mine from e-Bay! and I got just he colors I wanted and I was surprised when they happily omitted green from my selections!

Very nice. I have tried the mono pigment set. Amazon sells Rosa. The paints were great but I found I used way more of the paints than expected. At the end of my swatching I had big dips in the pans. Any advice for that?

I love mine too! They do wear down very quickly though. 🤔

Love your channel Amy, beautiful flowers. You might want to try the DaVinci Casanao Brushes, NOT made by the same company as the American paint company. They’re kinda pricey but they are snappy, hold the point and water but are soft. Also another option for hot press paper is Saunders, wonderful quality. I noticed that you’re not wearing the sling. How is your recovery going? I’m having shoulder surgery in May.🤞🤞🤞

This was pre-filmed. :) it's going to be a minimum of another 4 weeks in the immobilization device before I am even allowed to start physical therapy. It is what it is, I guess. I hope your surgery goes well! Thanks for watching!

I had rotator cuff surgery in 2015. I’m afraid I’ve dislodged an anchor now. I don’t wanna have the surgery again. It took a year for me to recover. 😭 *Rosa gallery is all over Amazon.

You can get sets already put together on Amazon. Or you can get individual tubes and maybe pans too I think? On Jackson's art supply. hope that helps.
