Dina A. That's not true. If a product has beef gelatine, the cow would have had to be slaughtered according to shari'a. So only if the packet says halal on it, it is halal. Unless it is a plant gelatine in which case it would obviously be halal.

I am so sorry to this but Bilar has pork gelatine in it, I used to too love them and then read the ingredients which only says gelatine and I contacted the company and asked and they informed it it was from pork and crushed my dreams. We have 1-2 of those exact same here in Switzerland and they‘re def not halal, though, I‘m pretty sure that sid & dina refered to this in one of their previous vids, so they‘re hundert percent checking what they eat. So this wouldn‘t be their mistake, rather the person that sent them because obvs the person should have known that they‘re eating halal only. Still, I recommend double checking the stuff they get sent to. 👍

di mila I did not think of that. I don’t eat it because I am vegan. I also don’t think all people know everything us vegans eat and don’t. But I didn’t think of what was in the candy, or what they ate or not, I do not know everything and I was thinking of alot all at once, all I did was think about if they had a nut allergy or not. I’m only human. And I believe if they absolutely do not eat a certain ingredient they can ask or not try unless they are sure. But all the crisps and chocole apart from Polly are safe and do not contain that ingredient. Anyhow, now they know thanks to you helpful people that write it in all comments, so they must not eat it again and they can check ingredients because it is basically spelled the same in Swedish as in English. Wonderful! 😊💕 And they cannot miss your comments because they are everywhere. You know, I am a very sensitive woman, but I am human and cannot remember everything. I've literally been waiting for this video. Was so entertaining to see your reaction. And all the snacks literally reminded me of my childhood. You guys should 100% visit Sweden. I'd really recommend Göteborg. There's so much to do and there's loads of places Hanna would like too (like slottskogen, universeum and liseberg). And if you guys wanted to purchase any of the snacks you really liked, you can either get them from Scandi Kitchen in London or online on Totally Swedish. Also if you ever do go to Sweden do try the kebab (because the sauce with it is delicious) and the pizza (again the salad with it is amazing and I've never had such good pizza) and ofcourse any fish (as it's quite a Swedish thing). This video has made me so excited to be going back to Sweden again this summer (I'm from there but live in the UK).
