I've seen this one around before but never got to try it! Very sweet, granular feel like a ripe pear, slight jackfruit flavour, looks like soursop fruit?! This is a completely unique one you have to try! Let me know your thoughts in the comments if' you've tried it before...
bless up,

I just miss having sweet sops. As a child growing up in Ja. we had the trees in the yard. So many different fruits, we never ate junk. We were never hungry, always a fruit in season. Blessed country.

and the paradox is, people always want to teach these kind of countries to adopt the western lifestyle, and teach them how to live... this world is nuts!

Time to try something different, how do you eat it,it's not rocket science, throw away the seed, indicates ripeness, different to soursop, any fruit is for your health, doesn't have to taste good, describe the taste as difficult to describe, drink it as a juice or eat it raw, does it taste like jackfruit,it is found in the Jamaican forest, pick it only when it's ripe, shape of leaf should be noted to distinguish the type of it,fresh from yard🇯🇲🍈

They are called Sugar Apples in North America. You can get them at local Jamaican grocery stores in the GTA or at some big chain supermarkets like Superstore (rare, and when they do have it it’s super expensive but it’s worth the splurge) It can’t compare to the Sweet Sop in Jamaica.
