Like i said in one of your earlier vids, back home 95% of the toko serves indisch, despite of what some of the toko try to convince you. Authentic indonesian food is very hard to find in the netherlands. Also the food you will find in toko back home usually serves food mainly from java and a few favorite dishes from sumatra(such as rendang, which is btw far from the authentic version /balado dishes).

The fish is actually my everyday dish at home 😂 glad u like it. If you want to do spicy challenge please try richeese chicken, maybe level 3 is enough for u to handle. Its already super spicy. And for more local food u can try : 1. Gado gado (local salad with peanut sauce) 2. Pempek 3. Batagor and Siomay 4. Martabak 5. Nasi Padang 6. Soto ayam/daging 7. Sei sapi 8. Two recommendations for local food to die for. The first is fried fish and soup call Mak Beng...its in Sanur. Fantastic if you like fried fish. The other also in Sanur is Warung Adi for Balinese nasi campur. The entire rice dish has flavors and textures that will make you want to stay in Bali forever! Order it with deep fried crispy chicken skin....a must have....Let me know once you find these places and try them out.

You supposed to eat the rice together with the side dishes. The idea of Indonesian food is that the rice will balance all the intense taste & flavor of the dishes. The saltiness, the sweetness, spiciness etc Never eat the sambal of it’s own, coz that is not the concept. Especially if u area foreigners that not use to hot n spiciness of those chillies. Sambal is a condiment of the dishes.
