Trying the Butterfly Cut by Brad Mondo on Thin Hair 🦋✂️ Better Than The Wolf Cut??

It's time for a new haircut! So I thought I would try out the new butterfly cut trend by Brad Mondo as I wanted a hairstyle with plenty of layers and the butterfly cut did not disappoint! 😍

Girl, it looks amazing 😻😻😻 A quiche tip : after you cut your hair , do a point cut to blend everything and make your hair more wavy .... This way you make sure that your hair has more movement 😉☺️

I love it . I did it yesterday. My hair is a lot shorter than your I cut 4" off the back and 3"1/2 off the front. And it's fantastic. I had 7 people tell me my hair looks amazing today. I think Brad said to cut the same amount of front and back. I think you look great 😀

Last night I evened up a few more layers just free angle cutting. That's what's great about this type of cut bc it allows you to add more layers. For thin hair this is a great cut. I have wavy hair and did try Brad's Butterfly Cut a few months ago. It was a bit choppy for me so I went back and followed his Face Framing layers video for my face a few weeks later. I loved the results. It did grow out and so a few days ago I tried Estelle David's: DIY / Quick & Easy layered haircut At Home - It came out perfect! I think you would really like this one. Very easy and helps to layer long hair perfectly! I hope you'll give it a try. I'm surprised it hasn't become more popular.

I tried to do the wolf cut that you did before, and after whatching this I think I ended up accidentally doing this one instead 😅 it's a good haircut though! My hair is way more thin and fine and don't grow past my shoulders so I kind of winged it to make it a butterfly bob instead lol

Also for people who don't feel confident blending/feathering the ends, blunt layers can make thin+fine hair look more full! Or just be a more choppy intentionally alternative look... But maybe that's more applicable to shorter hairstyles lol

I did the butterfly haircut after watching this video today. And gurllll... I really like it!!! ❤️ Just 1 thing- after 2 hrs the hair the layers don't show up well, not sure why. But looks okayish

I'm not an expert by any stretch, but it probably has something to do with the products you're using. Good products make all the difference.

how often do u wash your hair? I have very thin hair and i've tried millions of products and shampoo's to make sure it doesnt grease as fast as it does, but day 3 is impossible to have nice hair.

I work from home and I wash my hair weekly…doesn’t improve the condition of my hair. I don’t dry it or style it. I still have split ends like crazy. So do what you want with your hair! It’s gonna be the same no matter what!

Your part for the front section was too far back on the crown of your head. The part on the sides should’ve been behind your ears, but once you styled it, it looked better

I suggest to use wooden comb for scalp massage for least 2 minutes a day keep blood flow going...

hiya! I just used a flat iron straightener and curled out really quickly, but depending on your hair type it can be quite flat when not styled x

Point cutting doesn’t fix everything even if you point cut you might have to blend after you take it out of the pony. Thinning shears could help speed up the process of blending/point cutting.

I see one of the mistakes that you made. On the front you didn't get it even across. Before you took it down you should have evened it up. I saw a mistake in the back too. You didn't comb it out smooth before you put it the pony tail holder. If you redo both you'll get better results.

I think u should take biotin which can help thicken the hair which is a tip I can give u lol

Yes! I've been recommended biotin a few times for optimal hair growth, however I am not a fan of pills, I find them all hard to swallow lol 😭

You didn't do the first ponytail down above your eyebrows and your top pony wasn't high enought. Also, you didn't check if you cut them straight. Follow Brad's instructions, lol. Ps. I hope I didn't sound harsh. It's definitely easier said than done! You still look great. You are very beautiful!
