"Annnd....what now?" haha it's so true though! I love your banter and dialogue throughout. The Tainted Cup and The Lies of Locke Lamora sound interesting! I have heard such mixed things about The Cruel Prince. I do still want to try it, but trying to keep moderate expectations. A Study in Drowning is on my TBR as well.

I have a british version coming of Study in Drowning, so waiting for that (it has books on the edges!). I do love the Tainted Cup... but I also loved Attack on Titan, and it is set in a world that really feels like early AoT. Best of luck with Cruel Prince. I'm still shocked she didn't like it.

I agree with The Daughter about audiobooks, the narrators are always so slow! I skip audiobooks I don't like the sound of too, but I can't listen to anything at all on normal speed or I'll Die (probably not literally but it genuinely feels like death when you have ADHD lol). 1.5x is the minimum I can handle, I usually listen at 1.8x or even 2.0x though... 👀 Yes even the greats like The Blade Itself and Project Hail Mary
