The durians from Durian Baby will be freshly dehusked for you right before delivery. When I ordered, their durian shipment arrived from Malaysia at around 7pm in the evening. They dehusked, packed, and delivered the durians to me at 9pm the same day. For people who don't want to deal with the hassle of dehusking the durians yourselves, I recommend that you go for sellers that will dehusk and pack the durians for you. Nowadays, there are a lot of online stores on Facebook and Instagram that provide this service. The price and quality may vary.
Summary:
I liked the Black Gold durian the best because of the strong and balanced bittersweet flavors, the extremely creamy texture, and the amazing flesh-to-seed ratio. Some people find this bittersweet flavor "alcoholic" but I personally don't really think it tastes like alcohol. To me, the Black Gold flavors are slightly stronger than the MSW. The seeds were really small and flat compared to the MSW, and I found the large quantities of creamy flesh to be very worth the money.
The flavor profile of Black Thorn durian is similar to that of Red Prawn as both are very sweet. However I think that Black Thorn is more expensive because when eating them side-by-side, I found that Black Thorn flavors are a lot stronger.
The MSW and Black Gold durians were from Pahang. In Singapore, Pahang durians tend to be more expensive than Johor Bahru or JB durians. I believe that the flavors of Pahang durians are stronger than JB durians but I will have to do a side-by-side taste test to be sure. I have not yet tried durians from Thailand or other locations so I am not able to comment on those.
I hope you enjoyed this food review / eating show / mukbang and found it helpful. Please enjoy the rest of the durian season and don't forget to like the video if it was helpful and subscribe if you would like to see more content from me.
